Just a question, figured you would know the answer best: Is it safe to put a 2.0 amp original on a 1.5 amp lutron 3 speed control? I understand the fan draw about 1.3 amps, however I’m not sure if there is a risk installing it on a wall control.
Cool to see that this video is still kicking on RU-vid. I was five when this was published and became a really big NASCAR fan because of this video and other crash compilations! Cheers 😊

Very helpful, the Hunter site and other videos were worthless. My 2002 fan had a slotted screw for the oil port on the lower part, below the motor housing. And I actually enjoyed your long, rambling explanation.
I have an Allison MD3060 in a bus I converted to a motor home, they are the only automatic I really like, mine has a built in retarder as well which saves alot on not needing to ride the service brakes down a hill.
Generally, the larger the fan, the more air it can move! You want to exhaust still air, fumes, or anything toxic quickly so workers/personnel dont breathe it in.
I used to be in a boys club and the chapter I was in was called Avalon. At least until my adoptive dad, who introduced me to it, passed away from COVID :/
