@@dollinterrupted: I lived.....Soon-Yee's reality, only I was NOT.....a willing participant in ANY intimate dealings with my my mother's second husband. But, reading about Soon-Yee and her father, reminded me, that was EXACTLY what I went through. My mother -- may she rest in eternal peace -- was NOT the most understanding person(through no fault of her own)to the challenges I had and still have, because of a traumatic brain injury that her naivete caused me to sustain, from infancy. So, instead of talking to me, she would send me to Psychiatrists and, I would tell her that the difficulties I have, could NOT be fixed with armchair therapy. Anyway, now that I no longer have a mother, my hind sight is showing me that she did the best that she could(not that it translated into success for me)and, I continue to pray that I release any ill will I felt toward her.

I'm a woman and I have been tempted to cheat. As most women, I am always constantly showered with male attention but choose to ignore it out of respect. I have a feeling that there's always people lurking around wanting to ruin what you have. The difference is I'd never do that. Is not worth it if you want to stay with your partner. A lot of pain would be avoided if mostly people thought like this.
