Celebrating Gloria Randle Scott, National President of Girl Scouts in 1975 

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we honor Mrs. Gloria Dean Randle Scott for her remarkable achievements in Education.
Gloria Randle Scott is recognized as the first African American National President of Girl Scouts of the USA in 1975, first African American woman to earn a degree in Zoology at Indiana University, and the eleventh President of Bennett College.

Let's celebrate Sister Scott for her impact on the lives of thousands across the nation. Her resilience in overcoming the challenges of a Black woman through the decades is admirable.
