In this video I am in Ireland, talking about sacred wells, the goddess Brigid, and a few simple ways to celebrate the first festival of spring, Imbolc. If the video looks a little different please excuse it, I am in Ireland without my usual editing software at the moment.

Happy Imbolc! It's the coldest time of year for us, and I'm dreading going outside. I'm doing it, but with lots of layers and apprehension.

Nice video. :) I tend to look at Imbolc as the "Promise of Spring", especially those signs you showed give you that feeling it's coming back. The Cross Quarter days are kind of like the twilight of one Season and the next. There's always plenty of Winter like weather after the Day of Imbolc, but that gets swept away when the Vernal Equinox arrives. I'm in New Zealand, so for us it's coming up to Lughnasa. I hope you're having an awesome Imbolc though!

I explained in the video, the wells have been Christianised but I still like to go them because they were important in pre-Christian tradition. And the Brigid’s cross, I think of the goddess Brigid and not the saint. Thanks for watching and have a lovely week too ❤😊

I would be considered pagan or wizard of some kind based on genes. First and second generation of one branch has no burial details in Salem New Hampshire. Third planted , fourth left with a 5th gen grandmother of my past. She was an Elizabeth, I was born Victoria day. Spiritual world is far more accessible than any organized religion. Not bound by their beliefs and superstitions, free to interpret as experienced, not told.
