I agree however the fact fan's react to him and he chats to them is part of his popularity. Danny edits the final cut so if he didn't like the interaction he doesn't have to show it. I found him very friendly and sociable and was shocked to see he showed our full conversation!

That piece of fish puts LJS to shame. I'm in the US as well and I've only found ONE place in my entire life that has pieces of fried fish that big and that was in a little bar in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.
As a kid, i was terrible with vinegar and make my chips all soggy. Vinegar in a spray bottle is a great idea. Said it before, Danny is likeable, polite and funny....great guy.
I've been in love with English fish & chips ever since I was in Plymouth England 40 years ago. I've never had anything remotely close to the taste of them here in the US. Love your channel Danny. Carry on brother 👍👍
You need to be near the coast for the freshness. Luckily everywhere in the UK is close to the coast. If the fish is frozen first it isn't as good :P (and also know how to cook it properly).
as a local ( to Danny) they all differ, no matter if it's a mile away or across the street. most are "foreign run", so all have their "nuances", (put it that way). the "english run" chippy is getting like " a cows bollocks" ( as me dad used to say). i pine for "beef dripping" chips, so consequently i travel 10 miles to satiate misself. i come away happy.... that's it.
Love how past few videos Danny has had fan's come talk to him and he's just chatted to them, basically famous now and is still keeping it real, another great video keep them coming!

From New Zealand - I have got to hand it to the fish and chip shops in the North of England they certainly know how to make F& C properly. The best F&C's I have tasted were from a shop in Manchester when we were there on holiday, they were so good that we had them mid-day and my mother insisted on going back in the evening for the same again.

Well I’m 72 and me mom is 92 and she still treats me like I’m her baby. It never ends once a mom always a mom, you enjoy her while she is hear. Now I’m going to our little take out down at the lake and get me a fish and chip tonight and enjoy by the bay. Have a great day.

I never get tired of watching your videos! I’ve been in the US for the last 25 years and I have to say the meal you just ate is the one I miss the most! You can obviously get fish and chips here but it tastes nothing like home! Keep up the great work Danny!
You are EXACTLY correct. I was in Plymouth for a couple weeks when I was in the US Marines. I loved getting fish and chips with a pint of lager and lime. I can't find any place in the US that has fish and chips like in the UK

I can tell by the look of that fish dinner how good it tastes. The fries look great (fresh cut) and that's good size fish. The mushy peas look great. And the batter on the fish is well done. Plus you get a fish butty to boot.

@ashley 1982 I’ve worked for the NHS, now work in mental health and have also been an unpaid carer for a severely disabled relative for years. I would never begrudge people having a bit of lighthearted fun on RU-vid. Danny’s channel, among others that focus on seemingly insignificant stuff, are my escapism and saviour at times. If Danny’s table & chair end up in a museum (I suggest The People’s History Museum in Manchester) then I’ll be the first on a train to go see it and rejoice in all the times he put a lighthearted smile on my face when I was feeling tired, stressed or generally worn out! Please be kind, you never know what the others here are mentally escaping from either 🙂 Try to relax, lighten up for a bit and enjoy xx

@@LHyoutube I think Australia needs to get fish and chips right properly before worrying about curry sauce. Mainly the chips being the problem. They always look like oven chips made in a factory.
If you are ever in Knutsford try the chippy called HOOKED it's right next to a huge green we sat under the trees and stuffed our faces it was fab, trust me you won't be disapponted.
@@Sam-ou5wu Yes from all I see it’s the same long rectangular piece of cod or shark and a lot of batter. The chips are ok but once you put the vinegar on they become soggy. I think they use the wrong potato’s also but that’s what we get. I have been to Gordon Ramsey’s in Vegas and even that was like finger food fish and chips. The places like Kings Head, Cock and Bull don’t do it proper nobody does really.
