I moved to this country 20 years ago and being a black man from Africa!! I struggled so much to find my place in this country and went through the ups and downs of adaptation and assimilation, finally I went back to who I’m truly I’m and learned to appreciate myself and the people who mean a lot to me, stumbling on this podcast was the gift of last year and I admire the 3 of you guys!! Mike Tomlin interview is the best piece of interviewing I’ve ever seen in my life. Nothing in media has ever resonated with me as a black man so much. Trying to be brief…This show is second to none! I’ve watched every episode, most of them multiple times! Outside of sports, I don’t watch much tv. I like to guard what I feed my holistic direction. As a South African that's only just garnered interest in American Football, I was already a fan of RC since I'd been an avid fan of Basketball, but due to his appearances on First Take... But then I hadn't an inkling as to whom Channing and FT were... But then a year later, I wish to intimate how inordinately gracious I am to have followed The Pivot from the first episode... The ingredients are just so meticulously incorporated... I been listening to Channing on the local afternoon sports radio show here in Fort Lauderdale for years & thats what got me into the podcast. I think The Pivot podcast is big for men in general & shows positive masculinity in its' essence.

I love how they play off each other when interviewing. I don't know a lot about football or any of those sports, I don't know stats and that but I am able to follow each guest story. They make it funny, serious and uplifting all at the same time. Great show, happy anniversary.
