Celebrating the American spirit in Minneapolis 

When I was young, I used to think that Democrats couldn’t be as patriotic as Republicans. I served in the military for ten years, and in that time, I learned that people from all ideologies were just as proud and patriotic as I am. I also learned that one of the greatest Republican presidents was very progressive for his time. Theodor Roosevelt did a lot for this country during his time as president. I have also learned that when Democrats created laws, they do so to benefit everyone, not just themselves or the people who have the most money.

viewed as anti American because they want for this country what the founders wanted; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, equality and justice for all, not just an elite few. Repulsicans claim to be, but oh boy, don’t try to make life better for all

Oh my, Minnesota is often ranked in the top 10 of most patriotic states. American flags proudly displayed everywhere; massive support for our active troops and veterans; the amazing Minnesota National Guard; highest rate of election voter turnout; civic pride and volunteerism abound; yep - Democratic or Republican, patriotism rules!
