The Salutation of the Moon (Sampeah Preah Khae) is another part of the Cambodian Water festival "Bon Om Touk", taking place in the evening and night.
First we just stroll the crowded streets of Siem Reap, just enjoying street food and live music, but eventually we stumble upon the "official" celebration and get to enjoy some Ambok, traditional music, traditional dances, and circus performances. When the entertainment part was over, we joined the flow of people carrying small boats and lanterns to put into the water, and as the biggest boat was put into the water, beautiful fireworks started and the evening was over. An amazing experience I will never forget!
