Very good video of the ship. We are going on the Infinity on the 23rd September, looking forward to it. We went on the Apex last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have cruised on it. It is a very practical and comfortable ship. The quality of food and service is above any RC cruises, I would say, at the Holland level. This ship is perfect for a busy, with Ports of call sailing itinerary, with little or no "days at seas", and all you want is the perfect floating hotel, great food, and a show. But, for the party side in you, or if you want non-stop activities, with late into the night party-central promenade, and many activities to do on days at sea, this is not. But it will be perfect for a lot of people.

We just got off the Millennium doing the Panama Canal, Miami to LA cruise. We will be on this ship in December doing Canary Islands, Morocco, and Spain. The ships look very similar as they are in the same class. We love Celebrity and have been on about a dozen cruises with them. We just took the October 1-8 cruise and it was wonderful. Due to damage from Fiona, Grand Turk was replaced with Royal Caribbean's Labadee getaway which was perfect. The ship was at 2/3 capacity but still felt as if it was full.

Celebrity ships have Grand Foyers, not atria. I think they call them foyers because they're smaller. On the Edge ships they're called Grand Plaza and are a bit bigger with a different shape. Lots of changes from the original. I sailed the Constellation which is very similar and spent a day on the Mllennium when it was brand new. There are added restaurants which work fine. The observation lounge looks the same and it's a great area of the ship (deleted from the Edge class). The Rendezvous Lounge is a staple of Celebrity that for some reason isn't on Solstice or Edge class ships. The Martini Bar is added to the Infinity and it looks like the Solstice ships in style (a good thing IMO). Michael's Club, unfortunately IMO, is now for suite pax only. It used to be richer in decor, more English gentleman club, and was a cigar lounge and then a piano bar. I don't like losing lounges on any ship and particularly on Millennium class that already lost a lounge from the Century class lounge that was arguably the nicest one on the ship (Crystal on the Century, Savoy on the Galaxy, Pavillion on the Mercury). Originally the ship had one specialty dining room that had artifacts from classic oceanliners. This one had panels from the United States, one of the fastest ships ever. So I think it's unfortunate now that it's just a regular steak specialty diner vs. the much better special dining experience it was originally. And that's why there is a wall up about the United States. I'd rather this area be a lounge or supper club, something more special than what it is now. I agree there is wasted space in the photo gallery as there is no need for a large photo gallery anymore. Make it some sort of karaoke club or something more interesting than just a big open space. Thank you for the tour. This is still a very nice ship.
