This is why I don't leave comments anymore not even on verified celebrity accounts because scammers see you and contact you

I'm sorry but how is it possible to believe what they write? actors or famous people don't ask for money and don't chat with ordinary people.

It's crazy to me that these women fall for this bs. Is there no end to how desperate and dumb people can be?

This is a big problem on Instagram too. I've stopped commenting on verified celebrity accounts because as soon as you do a fake account will contact you. It's so annoying. I immediately block and report them. But there are so many it's ridiculous. So now I don't even comment on celebrity posts anymore and so I don't get those scammers but you still get other random scammers contacting you just delete and block everyone. Don't get to the love bombing phase shut it down at first contact.

They don't care who pictures they use, they don't care about the victims.

I understand wanting love but a celebrity (that has prestige, fame, and money) doesn't need money. I feel bad that they can't think logically.

My husband who is divorcing me is convinced that he is in a relationship with Jennifer Aniston and he has sent money to her or whoever it is. He won’t listen to me that he is being scammed. I need to get him to listen PLEASE HELP ME !!! I want to see him safe

Buying gifts cards for fake celebrities who are supposed to be rich is pretty much low IQ actions.

One thing I have learned from my experience and with the guidance of our federal, provincial, and local police enforcement is that all high-profile entertainers DO NOT have chats or even request money in any amount from their fans or general public. As soon as money is requested, drop them, they are SCAMMERS. Please inform local, state/provincial, and/or Federal law enforcement agency. SAVE YOUR MONEY! SAVE YOUR MONEY! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

You would think that someone would know that movie stars of other famous people would not ask for gift cards.

Make sure that she doesn't get a secondary scammer claiming to be FBI and asking for money to file things.

These dating sites should be shut down. These scammers are I think behind the running of these sites.

Its astounding to me that people will buy so hard into this fantasy, that they will "forget" that these famous people are worth millions in real life, and would easily hop a plane and come see them if they were in love.

This is good information to warn about scammers

Even if I was a scammer, I wouldn’t believe that someone would be this stupid as to send me thousands and thousands of dollars, sight unseen, never invested in the person, and then for the scammer to say that they are Johnny Depp or any other celebrity that has fallen in love with them and is asking the person for money. It’s not just one person but thousands of people fall for this scam. WOW!

This happened to me but when I exposed he was a fake it went quiet but I have been getting all this fake profiles from stars mainly Keanu Reeves and his mother and sister. I am fed up as it’s not fair to these artist. They are very Savy even opening fake websites. This is driving me insane any tips to stop them.

Would think these people would do their homework, before they lose their money, under no circumstances will a celebrity of any kind contact you out of the blue and ask for money they make enough of their own. This is happening to my sister right now, only it's Jason Beghe, of Chicago PD. she just bought a wedding dress, she thinks they are getting married. Also, he sent a photo of a ring. My sister gets mad at me And cusses me out. because I told her he's a scammer, she already got scammed out of 100.00 now she saying that she's talking to the real Jason, I told her she's on a list for these scammers. so she's an easy target because it's happened before, and this one started on Facebook then had her go onto the WhatsApp. All she gets is SSI. And she is Mentally challenged.

The scammers are not "really really good." Their scams are goofy nonsense that a child wouldn't believe.

Or asked 200 euro for a meeting with a star. I didn't block him but now I see that he is Kelvin Costner ahaha)))) He never proved his identity

Yup had this happen tried to tell me one was talking messages then oh u want to talk with Blake Shelton an aldean an luke Bryan. An the list went on. I knew scam shut it down then found a laptop in my house which was my one sons at one tine until came up missing then convintently found in basement under a bookshelf the laptop has a burner in it would burn songs from other artist i saw exactly went by david on log in. Info intercepted all my emsiks on laptop as well

I am not trying to victim blame…but it just seems ludicrous that anyone could fall victim to this. An internet rando, a dating site profile…perhaps, but an actual celebrity? It just seems bonkers to me. But I am glad I watched this video…because I have about 11 catfish Lenny Kravitz following me on tiktok right now…I just realized that is too many to be more than one person. I visit Lenny’s actual real tiktok, like something, or leave a comment and within a day or two at most, sometimes within hours, I get another follow by a catfish Lenny Kravitz. But now I know why…he is looking for someone to victimize. Thanks to this video I am on high alert…let the games begin!!!!
