I loved Saved by the Bell the College years. I watched it when it premiered. I was a freshmen in HS when it aired. It only lasted one year. Bob Golic was in it.
I too watched it when it first aired and I was probably a sophomore in HS when it first aired. But I guess nostalgia is the only thing that could get me through an episode of it nowadays since the show didn't age that well and frankly watching SbtB anything without nostalgia glasses they're all pretty bad.
I used Sun In once was I was 12. It turned my brown hair orange. My sisters couldn't stop laughing but my mom got mad & refused to take me to get a haircut, forcing me to go to school to get mocked the following days.
I grew up with saved by the bell… And it never even crossed my mind that he was part Indonesian. Yet as soon as he said it in this interview, I instantly saw it in his features. That’s wild.
Zack scored higher than Jessie on the SATs and he got to choose any school he wanted to, they were all courting him. I think Yale was Jessie's first choice but she didn't get in and resented Zach for it.
@@vjbhatia77 she ultimately wanted to get into the fictional Stansbury but they just wanted Zack because of his SAT scores. So the gang comes up with a plan to get Jesse in and hilarity ensues.
Not too unique actually. I know several people who are Dutch Indonesian. The Dutch were in the area since the 1800's and they were very prominent with trade and.... relationships.
@@dougmasters4579Gosselaar was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles, the son of Paula (née van den Brink), a homemaker and hostess for KLM, and Hans Gosselaar, a plant supervisor for Anheuser-Busch. He is the youngest of his parents' four children, and was the only one not born in the Netherlands. His Dutch-born father is of German and Dutch Jewish descent. Gosselaar's Jewish paternal great-grandparents, Hartog and Hester Gosselaar, were murdered at the Sobibor extermination camp during the Holocaust. His Indonesian mother, who was born in Bali, Indonesia, was a flight attendant for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Gosselaar has described himself as "half-Asian,” and mentioned collecting things from Indonesia. Gosselaar speaks Dutch, and was fluent for a time, at home. His parents later separated. -from his Wikipedia page.
Their mothers were what's called Indo, meaning they were half dutch, half Indonesian. That's why both Van Halen & Zack Morris look Dutch, because they're three quarters Dutch.
@@dougmasters4579 Oh cool, I didn't know that. I've heard Eddie tell the story a couple times but I guess he just gave the quick version. Good to know though. Cheers Doug!
It says right here that you are trash. No, Zack Morris is trash! Also, when Mark Paul says this is my real hair color, Rich says "Are you serious???" Like he thinks it's more likely that his normal hair color is the blonde from the show but he colors it brown in real life.
Well you did serve 20 years in Afganistán looking for bin laden and living in a cave. One would have to have lived in a cave not to have known this..You are now forgiven
It’s funny cuz save by the bell the college year should be a depressing reality cuz zack got into Yale and ended up at going to Cal U with no explanation and slater got into Iowa and settle for Cal U with no explanation either lol.
RE: Why did you have to dye your hair?? Ummm because Dick , he's obviously not blond..... RE might somewhat know sports but his knowledge only goes so far.
It’s weird, right, that this “perfectly good white boy” didn’t do bigger things in his career? He’s basically chained to Saved by the Bell all these years later.
