Wow! I have always been a fan of The Platters and their music. My parents used to play their records quite often, and I loved the way they looked so classy. The lead singer, Tony Williams, had an incredibly powerful voice that always left me in awe. I remember watching the movie "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" which starred Halle Berry as Zola Taylor. I was shocked when she left her home in the hands of Frankie Lymon, who at that time, became a drug addict and eventually trashed her house while she was away.

And not to mention that the movie Why Do Fools Fall in Love was the last movie actor Keith Amos appeared in during his lifetime he played the guy in the pool and then 3 months later on November 22nd 1998, he died from a chronic asthma at 36 years old. I hope you do a story on him.

My God larenz Tate was so handsome in this movie!..... Halle Berry was absolutely stunning as well! last but far from least the lovely & beautiful Lela Rochon!!...... Oh dang don't let me forget the gorgeous Vivica Fox! Everyone was in their prime in this particular film.... It took me awhile to recall everyone. It's been quite some time since I seen the movie 😂...... But I can honestly say it's one of my most favorite movies!

May this Lovely, talented songstress Rest in Peace. Her likeness, represented and played by Mrs.Halle Berry in "Why Do Fools ",was very touching after Frankie,(Larenz Tate) went through her assets and palatial home due to his addiction issues. Her character shared the screen with many other stars and the movie was very entertaining all throughout.

Tell the story Zora, she was beautiful, gorgeous, classy💯💕☺️, it sees me that Miss Zara was a great business woman Holly Berry did a great job betrayed Miss Zora, my bus driver on the way to school. Mr. Allen used to play the platters that’s how I was very familiar with the songs he played them going to elementary school. They had some hits and I remember seeing Miss Zora and says she was beautiful even when I was a kid, and I thought it was unusual to see a woman with four men😮

Excellent detail on the storyline a very interesting lady. Frankie Lymon was sure a womanizer, a thief and a dope fiend ! Sadly Zola got caught up in his BS & lost her house!. 💔 Yet, her fame continues wirh all the great hits the Platters had. That white guy manager producer was a real gentleman to take care of them financially with sharing of the profits. He was a beacon, as with so many black artists being taken advantage of and having their money taken away through duplicitous means. Amen to people like him !!💟
