This high-quality OFC wire upgrade cable from Celest, a sister brand of Kinera, is designed for use with your favorite high-fidelity IEMs. It features a hand-weaved two-strand configuration with 1660.08mm high-quality OFC wires, which enhances the output with smooth signal transmission and benefits the bass response with a rich tone. The detachable boom microphone allows you to use Ruyi for calls, conferences, mobile karaoke, and any other scenario where a mic is necessary. The cable also has full in-line media controls, including volume controls, play/pause controls, and track skipping, as well as a mute-mic switch that will mute the microphone when not in use.
In this video, we'll take a closer look at the design, build quality, and features of the Celest Ruyi IEM upgrade cable, and give you our honest opinion of how it performs in real-world use. We'll also discuss the compatibility of Ruyi with different IEMs and accessories and share some tips and tricks for getting the most out of this versatile audio accessory.

Thanks for the review. Do you know if the Ruyi's in-line volume controls are supposed to work on PC? Because I can't adjust the volume with them on Windows 11, even though the mute switch works fine. The in-line volume controls also work on other devices, such as an Android phone.

Is there anything I can do since my IEM even though a 0.78 it doesn't fit properly and easily detaches to my Moondrop Aria? Should I just get a different IEM that is compatible with the 0.78mm pin

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the compatibility of your Celest Ruyi microphone and Moondrop Aria IEMs. On paper, the Celest Ruyi should indeed be compatible with the Moondrop Aria IEMs due to the shared 0.78mm pin connection. However, it seems that you're experiencing difficulties with the fit and detachment. To better understand the situation, it would be helpful to determine if this issue is specific to the Celest Ruyi cable or if other cables also fit loosely. If other cables fit properly and securely with your Moondrop Aria IEMs, it suggests that the problem lies specifically with the Celest Ruyi cable. In this case, you might want to consider reaching out to the manufacturer's customer support to inquire about the issue and see if they can offer any insights or potential solutions. On the other hand, if other cables also have a bit of looseness or detachment, it could indicate that the issue lies with the IEM sockets or the design of the Moondrop Aria IEMs themselves. In such a scenario, getting a different IEM that is compatible with the 0.78mm pin might be a viable solution to ensure a secure and reliable connection.

Thanks, literally nobody seems to be talking about this cable/mic. Any chance of comparison against the rival product from... the same company (what?!) Kinera Gramr?
@YuriBrus

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. I like the concept of adding a quality mic to my IEMs, and If I keep using this setup, I might order the Gramr as well.

Thank you for watching my video, and it's great to hear that you also appreciate watches! Personally, I often switch between a Speedmaster and an Orient Kamasu as my daily watch.

Do you still use this cable? How is it after some use? I'm looking to get something like this for my work calls. 😅

My son borrowed it 2 months ago for his gaming setup, and it is still working great after many online battles. In general, Kinera related products are of proper quality 👌 .
