There is a lot to it but it’s doable. Just takes a lot of adjusting back and forth. Well worth all the work you out into it. Thanks, Celeste. Watching from my hospital room. Love all the learning I can get.❤️🪡🧵❤️

Hello Celeste, I have a few questions. First, between the tightening steps, what is holding the thread. Second, I noticed you used one spool of thread for the width of the project. Did you have to connect two spools to lace the length of the project. Finally, do you cover the back or use glass. Thank you 😊

Wow that is a lot of thread - Your work comes out beautiful - How long did it actually take to lace all the piece to complete it and what size is the completed piece?

It for sure takes less than an hour. Most likely around 30 minutes. That piece measures about 19 x 12

Are you worried it will move too much from where you initially start on the front? I am assuming you do not once any pins in the sides of the foam core throughout this process. Didn’t seem that you had to adjust much at all, maybe that is experience but wanted to verify. Thank you for this tutorial!

I do not worry about it moving. I use a layer of batting on the foam core under the linen. I think this helps keep the stitching mostly in place while I lace. I do not use any pins. Only the laving

Celeste-nice video on lacing. But would you be willing to share your charting of “peace be to this house” that you put on the bottom of your Jane Austen sampler?

Thanks Celeste, this is how I do it, do you put wadding between the cardboard and the linen?
