i was confident that i wouldn't need mateo for this content and decided to use my stones on resonance. unfortunately i was wrong.

Heres a tip: To build Mateo's AP really fast, provide ahmed with full crit as well as the other units. If possible, provide astral to all units to boost even more damage.

My experience in Chimera is; Lu Yi is absolutely amazing for all of the new content. I have Xuan Pin, sure, but he was doing 460k+ with not so great attack with this S3. My best score so far is 5.9m, it was incredible RNG but I do not have R2 Yun Chuan. With R2 Yun Chuan, I can guarantee my score would be even better.

About the Mateo spark YC combo.... dont forget about lil new ptah and her sinergy as well.... 3 stacks everytime YC hits with the dog

I have Elaine and YC, both R0, and manage to get an A+. So, I believe we can still reach EX++ if all the other 2 teams will be open. We gotta wait for the next 2 phases.

I was incredibly lucky to get Mateo from elemental records and he did wonders to my high score! I used this team in the end (R0 Mateo, R1 Ahmed, R2 Yun Chuan, R0 Elaine, R2 Sienna) and I ended up with 9.6 mil, and I did some nice upgrades to the andvanced strategy things. It is a work in progress but I'm happy with this score rn.

To simply put, if you guys want to compete on the leaderboard, Mateo is a must. If you are early/mid-game players, then I would not recommend him, and also he is really hard to build imo. My best score is around 5.2mil on Anomaly, and I'd say Mateo and YC are carrying me with their synergy.. just missing XP to compete heavily in the current PVE meta 🤡

I want Mateo, but I only have 100 wish stones and I'm waiting to see details on the Lion guy. I'm torn because I'll probably want both but there's likely no way that'll happen as I'm full F2P.

Hopefully the additional buffs will solve this situation. I tried EVERYTHING. (At the moment) it is not possible to get to lvl 0 without Mateo. I tried every Eira abuse. I have Unas. Even when I dont care about DPS, only to get the stacks -> its impossible 😊 I don't want to pull for Mateo. My decision. But it is somehow disgusting that I am literally "locked down" and incapacitated in the content. And there will be two more must have Espers for the content. Yikes.

Are there any f2p combos out there especially ones not using yc or ahmed. Also will you be doing a f2p path fo withering messenger? as again the boss battles do seem very hard for f2p. The AFK buffs you get aren't as good as you're so low level so it's unlikely you'll get them quick enough to move fwd Also once you get them move fwd 5 lvls say then you're hard stuck again. Been trying to find f2p friendly teams online but sadly nothing out there Currently im only EX+ on the miramon boss, A+ for the lion boss & 35F

Bro, try the Leora with a sea set and a Avatara set. Then you can get a ridiculous score. One Leona is enough for the team.

After you get him to Lv 0 you stun him one turn and then he gets stupidly fast and hits for 300k i dont think you can survive 2 turns after he recovers from the stun. My 4.6M score depends on how many procs I get really

From my experience, lu yi goes absolutely berserk on both this and the other boss, deals absolutely insane DMG and can get like 45 blockade stacks with his s3, literally just better Elaine damage wise

im using YC (RO), Elain (RO), ahmed, sienna, and luyi. All of them are using astral and avatara set, i managed to get an A+ with my not-so-good relic stats, so i think EX+ is somewhat possible

I don't think I can get to any higher than 30th floor as a F2P, my Espers are not leved up enough for this I don't have enough Espers at level 60 and also I don't have Ahmed. My Sally and Clara are bearly keeping up with all the DMG. Their DMG are not enough to keep up with the Boss. I think I'm not gonna go any further. This is clearly a DPS check and for some players who lacks the Espers for this are not gonna enjoy this. 😞😐😔

11.7M with Mateo (better with Fiery set than Ava), Ahmed, LU YI R6 > my R0 YC, Li Guang R6 > Elaine R0, Alice R1. I have tried tons of combos with AIN, YC, Elaine, Ophelia R0, Sienna R0, etc. But they don't come close.
