Also, check it out on Vimeo. Quality is much better there with those ultra low light shots. Appreciate it!

Appreciate that Jim, we were using 24fps 4K ProRes Raw, 1/25 SS and ISO way up in the 50K-100K range with all lenses wide open. Check out our BTS piece on this project: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HyZ0PlXYSmM.html

@@pagefilms Thanks, Lance for your quick reply. I took a look at your BTS. You put in a lot of work that night and it really paid off. I'll have to look into NeatVideo. On moonless nights I've been shooting mostly 80,000 ISO, 1/15 shutter speed, at 60fps. As you can image it's pretty noisy, but if I can clean it up in post as well as you have, I'll be happy. Lately, there have been a few leftovers from the Capricornids and with the Persieds arriving in a few days the night sky is getting productive.

@@hawaiibirds Cool I'm curious as to how your clips turn out at 60fps, 1/15. Are you converting to 24fps to slow it down? I have a hard time computing in my head how the frames would blend and what meteors might look like. I definitely want to experiment with some slower shutters since it's so difficult to get clean shots in full real time speed. My upcoming CE07 Perseids piece will feature more 24fps,1/25 footage and I had a much better meteor show than the Geminids 2020.
