+Channt al Some people avoid sex and relationships due to trauma, but Paramahamsa Nithyananda is talking about celibacy vows that are taken from a complete inner space. These so-called challenges in relationships are just each partner's stupid patterns playing out on one another, again and again and again. Being celibate allows the mind to see those patterns clearly and complete them, without getting swept up in the drama and delusion again and again. Partners can build a relationship based on completion, and help each other to complete with one another's patterns. But, if there isn't a solid commitment being made to do that, then celibacy (based in completion) is a beautiful choice. Don't bash what you don't know. It sounds like you're afraid of this concept - I recommend completing with that fear.

Lust isn't evil, it is natural and sexuality is sacred, it is up to you how to utilise your personal energy wether for positivity or negative, sexuality and lust are not inherently evil, impure or wrong.

+samanthaetain Nobody said a healthy sexual relationship between two loving partners is wrong or impure, it is just that sexuality has its time and place and stage in life. In our current society, we are often sexualized far too young, our relationships are fraught with jealousy and possessiveness, and we are constantly seeking pleasure. Beautiful partnerships become innocent again through completion, sexuality need not be the backbone to a relationship. You can see all the pressure put on couples to be having sex for as long as possible, in all sorts of mainstream magazines and daytime talk shows, it is implied that something is wrong with both of you and the relationship if you aren't having intercourse X amount of times per week. The truth is, lust brings us further away from the experience of pure Consciousness - it is a distraction. It is also completely possible to have a sexual life without lust. Just because lust is common doesn't mean it doesn't have detrimental effects on our consciousness. Nithyananda is speaking directly from His enlightened viewpoint on the effect of lust on Consciousness.

Ok so i can say i can agree with most of what you said like society being screwed up heh i wasn't disputing that, but it comes down to the lust being wrong which it isn't. You just said it has detrimental effects on our consciousness, it isnt the lust that may have a detrimental effect on anything it is how we use it, as i was saying it isnt the lust that is the problem, also heard of tantra? yeh lust CAN and has and always will be used to reach enlightenment and freedom, liberation as i said the truth is how you use it, lust isnt evil, wrong, impure, low level and it doesn't have detrimental effects. It is pure, beautiful and sacred, just because people abuse it doesn't make it bad.

Only Guru will take you out of that fantasy, because you yourself are unable to see it.

The guru-disciple relationship seems to be gravely misunderstood by many. It is not a master-slave relationship, both parties enter into the relationship willingly. +Owen Shiers No, true celibacy does not require suppression. The sexual desires and lust become irrelevant to one on the spiritual path. You don't even need to think about dropping it or trying to conquer lust, it just happens beautifully by itself. Spiritual celibacy is fulfillment, and the energy is transmuted into the potential for superhuman powers. Regular old celibacy, which is just the abstaining from sex, does not have that power. Being truly celibate, one does not even have any lustful thoughts or feelings - they live in the original innocent space, and radiate that vibrant energy.

That's Your opinion, and you ASSUME I'm homophobic. AGAIN, just an observation because he is TOUCHING on abstaining. Jordana Luggi​ and I am VERY aware of some Buddhist monks that are very feminine, and Priests as well.... and they PROFESS to abstain as well. Truth is all about perseption, and if we perceive certain things long enough eventually it becomes true, (to those that choose to believe it whether it is or not)..I harness and use my intuition. And that is the energy coming off of him which is a distraction to me, which is why I haven't been back to his page because I need to focus. Maybe he didn't Choose to be born into a male body, but his spirit or soul is fem, which is the case with MOST homosexuals... whether you agree with MY observations OR NOT. again... Good day
