So to answer your question about Kenshiro. Kenshiro is from a series called Hokuto no Ken or Fist of the North Star. It's a post apocalyptic style anime dealing with everything after a nuclear fall out. Kenshiro is the inheritor of the style Hokuto no Shin Ken of martial arts. He can poke people to death or punch them but they explode in gory deaths. He's on a mission to rescue his girl. That's the very basic premise of this series but evolves some more as the series progresses but still kept the original foundation of the story.
I'd like to add, I believe he pokes them to death by basically striking Chakra points or what not, sending your body into disarray, and thus exploding. I could definitely be wrong I haven't seen it in like 25 years.
@@probablysomeguy4806 you're talking about musou tensei the originally theoretical master technique that Kenshiro was the first to use ever and then Raoh also used in the final showdown.
So to answer your question about Cell saying 'kids, there's nothing cooler than being hugged by someone you love' is basically a turned on its head version about possible familial abuse; and it was a tongue in cheek reference to the old PSAs that happened at the end of every episode of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog; ranging from smoking isn't cool, getting into cars with strangers, all that jazz; with it being in more surreal as Sonic was voiced by Jaleel White in that cartoon and the darker Sonic SatAM (Saturday Morning) series that aired at the same time.
Those Sonic PSA's were wild lol I remember one was a "stay off drugs" one where the evil robots were huffing something out of a bottle, and they just f'ing die in front of Sonic and Tails.
Just so you know, Devil Artemis has continued the Cell VS series and it's still going TO HIS DAY. Maybe check out his out of context videos, they're really good 12:32 Kenshiro is the guy that goes ATATATATATATATATATATA and everyone explodes 20:50 Missingno. Unown is a completely different mon "How do you kill Deadpool" You don't. The guy's in a sexual relationship with the personification of death.
If you were talking about Inuyasha in that early bit, he's a dog, not a cat. It's pretty easy to make that mistake if you never watched/read the series, but some of his mannerisms lean into it. Hell, I think at one point the female lead even makes him chase a stick at one point before he's like "wait a minute".
12:13: responding to your question about this bit: so, old Sonic cartoons used to have a PSA at the end, and a particularly infamous one was about sexual abuse of children. Very roughly speaking, it went something like "Kids, there's nothing better than being hugged by someone you love... but not every kind of touch is a good one, and if you ever feel uncomfortable about someone touching you..." and so on. Cell, being well, Cell, and having a nasty reputation in the DBZ fandom because of how his absorbing people is semi-sexual (something that DBZA ran with and turned up to 11), just stops it after being hugged by someone you love part instead of going on to the warning about bad touch.
Kenshiro is from a VERY old anime/manga series called Fist of the North Star (the original manga came out from 83-88) where all the protagonists and the major antagonists use supernatural martial arts in a post apocalyptic/post nuclear war setting. Kenshiro's main thing is basically attacking pressure points and I think disrupting chi in the body, but instead of how we think of being hit in a pressure point causes it to go numb or be paralyzed, Kenshiro disrupting the body's functions usually causes the person he hit to explode. His martial art can be used for other things (he has a brother who uses the body manipulation thing to heal people instead, and Ken himself sometimes does other stuff with it), but mostly it's about blowing people into chunks of meat. The average Fist of the North Star episode goes something like this: 1) Ken finds some post apocalyptic bandits or warlord (either super powered or not), abusing innocent people/survivors. 2) This pisses Ken off and he does some gory/impressive feats to kill the bandits or warlords. (Very rarely, a super powered leader isn't totally overpowered by Ken and might last to a second episode, or their organization is large enough that it takes Ken more than one episode to destroy it completely. EXTREMELY rarely, the leader might get the better of Ken or be able to fight him off in their first encounter only for Ken to come back and destroy him in a second fight.) 3) Everyone still alive celebrates, and Ken walks off and runs into the next settlement being attacked or gang of bandits ravaging the countryside. Rinse and repeat. Eventually there's a little more to it, including that Ken has another, more powerful brother who is trying to set up an authoritarian but not 100% evil Empire, while a group of various supernatural martial artist rebels are trying to fight back and prevent him from conquering the world.
Just do a reaction to YuGiOh the Abridged Series, since that's what started the whole abridged trend in the first place. You also basically get the story of YGO without 10 minutes of people staring at two people playing cards. I'm sure others mentioned it, but Saitama would definitely beat Cell. Saitama's whole thing is that he's a parody. Only characters that are also parodies would have a chance at beating him. So like, Bugs Bunny or Arale or something.
You missed the Ash Ketchum vs Cell video. You can find it at the end of the Cell vs Ash Ketchum one. Everyone misses the Ash vs Cell :( Also, Kenshiro is the "Omoe wa mou, shinderu" guy. It translates to "You're already dead."
The death note one was awesome and had a nice bit of terror when cell realized he had a heart attack! And yet, it was merely ONE heart! After that, it was lights out for his enemy!
6:50 It make sense, as the rules weren't a thing back then (Yu-Gi-Oh didn't started as a card game manga). If I remember correctly, the rules were only introduced in the Battle City arc (3rd arc of the anime, 6th arc in the manga), if not later. As for Yugi's cards, he did get new one as the series progressed, but his broken cards either had their effect changed when printing the real ones (i.e. the god cards), or were printed unchanged and later banned/limited (i.e. pot of greed, monster reborn). So you can still play the 3 god cards, just not the "anime accurate" ones like Yugi was trying to do here against Cell.
As a huge Yugioh nerd and someone who’s been playing Master Duel since it came out. It isn’t that the pharaoh has an OP deck, it’s more of the card effects were so basic they never had a restriction. So pot of greed would just be free cards for literal no cost. Which is why it’s banned
YES WATCH YUGIOH! However, there's an Abridged Series of it created by LittleKuriboh. Who was indeed the Voice of Yugi in the Video and was the one who created the Abridged Series.
If you like Yu-gi-oh and are looking for another fun abridged serie after DBZA, Yugioh abridged by little kuriboh is a lot of fun!. It started a long time ago (I'm not completely sure, but I think it was one of the first abridged series on youtube) but just like DBZ Abridged, it gets better over time.
During the sonic one, I’m pretty sure he is fast enough to be able to do that but considering his “afterimages” were able to interact with things he probably just used the multi-form technique to mess with them.
If you are still interested in revising the memory lane of Yu-Gi-Oh, there is an Abridged version of that too, starring and directed by LittleKuriboh aka. Lord Frieza in DBZA here. He began his series two years before TFS began doing the same things. I have been a fan of his since 2006. He's still making this series, when his health allows it and currently at the 5th and final season of the show. I highly recommend it!! ❤
Missed the "PERFECT" after the you win with the vs ken and ryu. Rip. And didnt let the deadpool one finish D: but then again deathbattle refrence so probably for the best
dead pool is difficult because it depends on which story line you are following but you see... hes trying to date death which is Thanos's lady so Thanos used the infinity stones to prevent deadpool death attempts so that he cant flirt with her anymore. I dont know if anything happened after that but on top of his regeneration hes basically banned from death.
For Kenshiro from Fists of the North Star, it makes sense that he could possibly blow up Cell. The way he "attacks" is by manipulating the victim's inner qi to explode them from the inside. And considering Dragonball characters uses considerable amount of qi...well. I mean that's assuming that DBZ characters can't counter it. But y'know, the interaction was comedic gold so who cares.
I don't usually comment to compliment a youtuber's looks but since it was brought up in the video I'll just commit I was going to comment something like "I'm not sure why but mattables looks really nice today" and then you commented about how the camera angle was changed to one considered more flattering and it all made sense lol either way, looking good today! Oh yeah, DBZA.
Think the cat guy was actually a dog boy and it's either Inuyasha or Sessomaru, both from the same show, Inuyasha. Also, Kuwabara here is my absolute favorite Anime character. that and Joey Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh.
With regards to Saitama, I personally think he'd have enough power to "kill" Cell, but not necessarily enough to actually "keep him down", since his regenerative abilities are kinda OP, at least by Dragonball standards. Basically, Saitama could absolutely down him in one punch, as per the bit, but he'd probably end up coming back repeatedly as a joke recurring villain that keeps getting collateralled in the middle of random fights. Basically, he'd probably end up as a villain version of Genos.
Kenshiro (from Fist of the North Star, a classic) vs Cell is basically Agent K vs Jack Jeeves. Cell can keep growing back what Kenshiro blows up, but it'll hurt like hell.
- Yugioh Abridged could a substitute to rewatching, especially if you only wanted to see up to Pegasus stuff of the original. - I think Code Geass achieves what Death Note wanted to better, if you're able to connect dots and keep up with their few second scene cuts to elsewhere, since it's a lot faster paced. - Fun fact, if you remember the old Gmod Idiot Box videos, the same guy made the 3D episodes of the Cell Games here.
I'm not gonna say spoilers for the manga, but Saitama is ABSOLUTELY capable of destroying the world with a punch, some of his feats that haven't been animated yet make it clear
Kenshiro is basically One-Punch* Man before One-Punch Man. His power is exactly as much as the plot requires, and he is never not-badass for even a second. *but with a kajillion punches instead. Then you are dead. Already. And you explode.
Cant recommend giving death note another go around enough. Theres a series on youtube where a guys been overanalyzing the first 28 episodes and he rewatched the entire series every two years. Theres just so much to dig into and even to get out of a rewatch.
Yugioh abridged by little kuriboh was the first abridged series on youtube and we have any and all abridged parodies thanks to him And lanipators first series was yuyu hakusho abridged before doing tfs.
Kenchiro from fist of the north start if I remember correctly has a martial art style based on attacking certain pressure points causing the body to explode how idk Anime logic. Sadly he can beat cell as he can regenerate from almost anything
Ngl u have a talent to pause in before the climax of a joke, ruining it. Like jeez its been a billion videos already, how are u still not in the habit of rewinding 5 seconds back after pausing
There IS another semi official cell vs ash where cell does get captured. Its with OneKidz who did a pokemon abridged Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut the lead guy was a physical abuser so its really not worth giving attention to.
@@Animedingo lmao! They gave him the environment he needed and he flourished. So proud of him. Personally, nothing tops the Among Us stuff with him and Kirran doing the whole lawyer bit. Maaaaybe when he locked himself in the restroom in Phasmophobia and just stayed there during several hunts.
