"I'm excited to finally present "The Complete Cellout vol. 01". Most of the of the tracks on here that aren't remixes from other artists are versions of my songs I completely reworked from the ground up for the Celldweller 2010/2011 Live Show. I've put a ton of time into remixing and reproduction but I'm not the only one who put a lot of time and effort into making this disc into something you could bang your head or shake your booty to. Drivepilot, Bare, Blue Stahli, J Scott G, Joman, Josh Money & Toksin lent their skills and turned this disc from being "pretty good" to being "totally badass." And that's what a lot of people don't understand about Klayton: He likes to experiment. See what he can do, tests out certain ideas and tweaks that pop up in his head, and sees if he can make something out of that.

I agree with alot of you, Ive loved Celldweller since i first heard The Last Firstborn on the Crackdown game soundtrack. Ive got a bunch of people introduced to Klayton and Celldweller, some have listened more, others not soo much, very love/hate. But if you keep exploring the songs you will find that its hard to stop listening to it. I connect really well with his work and its helped me through tough times. I hope he keeps up the good work. He has amazing skill and in someways I look up to him.

One of those that can justifiably call himself artist, and with that, an artist that makes dubstep sound good. The electric guitar inserts are excellent, just in their right place the way they are blended with electronical pieces in your songs. Use them as long as you make music. Ever since I first got introduced to it through your self-titled album, you continue to amaze. This song especially, what a powerful kick it has.

A lot of Klayton's dubstep that he uses now, he wrote the original demo's for the songs around 2006. Which puts him before most dubstep artists

Celldweller is an improvisor of multiple 'styles' which in my opinion can't be placed into borders of "Dubstep" or "Rock" or whatever. This is just a unique sound by a unique man.. who gives a crap anyways? I love it..

I don't mind the bass wubs actually, because that's not all this mix is about. The only thing I don't care for in this is the way vocals were changed, it kind of gets rid of some of the emotion for me... but hearing Goodbye harder and faster is certainly cool. Always interested to see where Klayton is going with his music, he's never disappointed.

@BlistienZepp Completely agree. The part from 3:45 to 4:50 is pretty cool. It's way more upbeat than his older stuff while still maintaining the feel his older stuff used to give. You have to be in the right mood to like it though. The rest however.. Not so much.

This song is about 170/180 bpm, putting it in the Drum and Bass/Drumstep genres. Don't know why all electronic music these days gets called Dubstep.

@LostFutureAmp He hardly gave in. If you go to one of his shows, there are very few dubstep elements in the show itself. Dubstep has exploded in the U.S. Market. In order to stay current and with the times he has to add some dubstep elements into his music. And Its a show worth going to. I would go again if hes ever near upstate NY again.

@CloudFFVIIAC123 Can't seem to find where I said Skrillex invented that sound. Just saying Skrillex is known for that style of music just like lazer sounds in electro is associated with Afro Jack. A lot of music is trying this style lately, and it's no doubt because of how popular Skrillex has become with it. Now back to the original comment people keep twisting "It's pretty obvious Skrillex is influencing a lot of music lately."

first time was like oh cool, been getting into the dubstep, keeping that awesome guitar, originals still better though, then i just wanted to keep hearing it. Maybe not as good as original and a few other mixes but still pretty sweet. Personally i think the original and Voicians mixes are the best overall.

You know, while I do agree with the fact that his old stuff IS better, I must admit, he DOES make dubstep sound pretty damn good at times. Example: This song. But just 'cause he does dubstep, doesn't mean that I'm gonna be any less of a fan, 'cause this shit's gotten me through some tough times.

Not everyone likes dubstep. But thats fine. I like dubstep and I think Celldwellers dubstep = one of the dubstep around. However its a misconception that Klayton 'turned' dubstep. Just because he made 2 or 3 dubstep-esque songs in a row doesnt mean he turned into dubstep for good. He justs experiments with genres and for now he experiments with dubstep, just as he did with trance and DnB b4. But did someone complain about him doing too much DnB? No so y complain bout dubstp? Dont like dont listn

Wooble bass doesnt mean dubstep, be open minded, you hear wub wub here and think its dubstep cause this song is more electro than rock (I think), but you hear same sound in "I Can't Wait! and it's just a cool effect, cause this song contain more guitars. The wooble bass is a great choice to give a special sound to your song, even if it is electro, rock, or black death horror metal xd. Listen to Jes remix of celldweller, THIS is dubstep
