This video lecture includes a brief overview of cellular responses to stress and injurious stimuli. It is an introductory lecture for the unit- Cell injury, Cell Death and Adaptations. The causes of cell injury, various forms of Adaptations , Reversible and Irreversible cell injury and Cell death have been discussed briefly.
In the next lectures, the topics Cellular Adaptations, Mechanism of Cell Injury, Free Radical Injury, Ischemia Reperfusion Injury, Necrosis, Apoptosis, Intracellular Accumulations, Pathologic Calcification and Cellular aging will be discussed in detail.
