Changing my path from IELTS to CEPIP was a blessing in disguise because I found your channel. Now, I trust that I will pass with flying colors. Thanks Maestro!
I am so nervous in speaking test, we only have 30-60 seconds perparation time in each part, this period you need to study the topics, thinking the answers (what things I need to say) and taking notes - multi-tasking. This is so difficult for a non-native English speaker. Instinctively, we will think the keywords in mother touge first. After that, translate to English. Should you have any advise for how do improve this situation? Anyway, a good show. Subscribed and Like!
Hey Chris, Thanks for your feedback. You raise a very interesting question! What you described is actually a common problem for many test takers (so, some relief in knowing you’re not alone, and more importantly, that it CAN be done!). Here’s my advice for you: 1. Make each part of the test as predictable as possible. You really shouldn’t be “discovering” anything on the test day. Your familiarity with the test format and its details will allow you to act fast. 2. You don’t have to plan in English. Remember, your notes don’t have to be written in English. In fact, as soon as you read the question, start writing all your main ideas in your own language. This will speed things up for you. 3. Have a clear structure in mind. You shouldn’t be worrying about how to start and end your responses. Smart test takers will have these figured out in advance. For the really smart ones, the test is like a performance (like an actor who’s learned the overall structure of the lines, but is ready to improvise the details). 4. Know which expressions/idioms/vocabulary items you want to use in each part. For instance, if you know you’re going to be giving advice, it’s smart to have some structures and expressions ready (e.g., “If you want my opinion…” or “I think you’re better off…”). This will not only increase your score, but will give you some added confidence and some extra time to think about what you’re going to say next. 5. Practice, practice, practice, and (guess what?)…more practice. Consider a very simple task like tying your shoe laces. I’m sure over the years we’ve all become faster and more efficient at it, and we owe it all to repetition. When you practice frequently, many of the phrases and expressions will just come out naturally. Listen to your own recordings, figure out your mistakes, and repeat the whole process. My video series will provide you with the structures, templates, language boosters, sample tests, and model answers you’ll need to prepare. Hope you find it useful, Happy Learning!

Hi Paramveer, Thanks for your question. CLB 9.0 on CELPIP is equivalent to band 7.0 on IELTS. The good news is that CELPIP speaking tasks tends to be more predictable, so you can prepare in advance by rehearsing the templates and incorporating language boosters in your response. Check out my CELPIP speaking masterclass for more details! Happy learning!

Hi there, So, as a member, you can watch the complete speaking tutorial (format, example, template, and language boosters) for all 8 parts of the test. I suggest you learn the structures and templates through repetition and compare your recorded answers to my sample responses. This will help you notice the areas you need to improve. Hi Sara, Thanks for your interest in my CELPIP Speaking Masterclass. In the series, I teach you the template for starting, finishing and presenting the main points in your response. I also teach some useful language expressions, which I call “Language Boosters” and can push up your lexical score. In addition, you can watch some sample (model) answers for each of the different parts, plus more sample tests. I suggest you watch the lessons for Part 1 and Part 2. Record yourself before and after watching the tutorial. If you can sense a change in your performance and an improvement in your confidence, you can proceed with the rest of the series. Wishing you the best of luck.
If u don’t mind I have a question 🙋♀️? I m eligible for citizenship application(Canada)! How many scores I have to get celpip LS ( Listening and speaking) plzzz sir lemme know!!!
Hello Nusrat, This depends on other factors such as your age, level of education, years of work experience, etc. You can calculate your required score through the calculator tool: www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Good luck with your application!
I have been subscribed to your channel for two months and have watched all of your videos on speaking and writing, some even twice, but I haven't seen any improvement. I feel that I have just wasted my time and energy. The writing advice is not practical; I believe Task 2 is worse than Task 1. Oh my God, your speaking part doesn't work at all. The exam is so fast, yet your templates are too long. I would never recommend this channel to anyone.
