Lots of people asking about the home support, around 2000 home season ticket holders did not turn up today. Kilmarnocks smallest home support of the season is always againsy Celtic. People do not want to take kids etc to these games. You can try and work out why that may be for yourselves.
English football is nothing like Scotland's, yours is paved with gold to showcase the worlds top players, ours is more passionate, but with a corrupt SFA dominated by the old firm
@McConnachy a bizzare reply from me praising The killly result? Btw English fans are passionate, hence some of the followings for their teams around the country.
@@borosniper7725 Nothing bizarre about it. Trillions vs hundreds of thousands, thats the disproportion, fekk know why Neil Doncaster has been in charge for so long?
@McConnachy I mean from the fact of me wishing Killy a big well done you replied back to me. talking about English vs Scotland I just find that isn't related to my initial praise of killy beating Celtic.
Between 1956-7 and 1965-66 Kilmarnock finished in the top 5 eight times, 2nd four times and champions in 1964-65. In the following season they lost to Real Madrid 7-3 on aggregate having drawn 2-2 at Rugby Park in the second round. As a St Johnstone supporter since the 1950s I think of Killie, Aberdeen and Dundee United as shining beacons in a sea of Old Firm dominance.
Dundee United only UK team never to lose a European tie against Barcelona. Four it total. My team St Johnstone's greatest manager Willie Ormond one Hibs Famous Five.
Writing as an Englishman 1967 was probably the best year for Scottish football, club and country combined, obviously everybody knows that Celtic won the European Cup and Scotland beat World Champions England at Wembley winning the Home International Championship in the process, but hardly anyone mentions that in the same year Rangers were runners up to Bayern Munich in the Cup Winners Cup Final (1-0 after extra time) and Kilmarnock were beaten in the Fairs Cup semifinal by Leeds Utd. Also worthy of mention Dundee Utd were knocked out in the Fairs Cup 3rd round (round of 16) by Juventus 1-3 on aggregate although they won the second leg at home 1-0, and in the previous round they beat Barcelona home and away for a 4-1 aggregate. Dunfermline went out in the second round of the Fairs Cup 4-4 on aggregate on away goals to Dynamo Zagreb (this being the first year of the away goals rule) who went on to beat Leeds Utd 2-0 on aggregate in the two legged final.
Another great video, as a lifelong Killie fan living in deepest, darkest Devon this was a real treat... I watched the game on SKY of course but you take the personal theme to a wonderful level. Please keep them coming, much love to you and yours, and Ayrshire in December is cold? try Aberdeeen in July! 😛😊
As a Northern Irish person living as a child near Kilmarnock for a period, I used to go and see them quite a few times on a Saturday afternoon a LONG time ago when the ground looked completely different. In fact, it was so long ago that I saw George Best playing there with Hibs! It was a bit disappointing to see so many empty spaces against one of the Scottish big two... especially with the team doing so well. The club and their passionate supporters surely deserve better.
@fishermansfriend81 oh on the contrary, it's not a problem for me but it must be a problem for you. I'll make this simple for you. If you were born on the island of Ireland then you are Irish, simple as that! Now, a very long time ago the brits took control of this we island just like they did with countless other countries all over the world for centuries, just like the yanks, that's why both nations are hated all over the world. Ulster protestants settled here from northern england and scotland courtesy of the english. Now I'm not saying that protestants here should leave this we island. I'm saying that protestants on this we island should stop being brainwashed by the british state and realise that this country belongs to all of us, this is Ireland. Not england.
Great performance by the boys. The second half was such a contrast and it took Celtic by surprise. The fact they didn’t respond at all should be a massive concern for Celtic fans. BTW where did that hilarious 10 mins of additional time come from?
Take it u never watched the match? Killie player rolling back on the pitch when he realizes he was off it? Substitutes? Players laying down wasting time? Head knocks? VAR checks?, Don’t ask dumb questions when u made good points right before it👍
You usually curse us when coming to rugby park. Glad we could get the win today! Thoroughly deserved for that 2nd half performance. Moan the killie! 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️
The longer they stayed in the game, the more they looked like they'd get something. I've seen a few good results for you now at Rugby Park. Thanks for watching and I'll be back soon!
boy at the end a kid on killie fan hahahaha video a few years ago hes buzzin outside celtic park before a celtic rangers game hahahaha "well take 10 aff them" he was shouting🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely brilliant result killie, rangers need to win their games in hand cause there will be 2 in hand after the cup final on Sunday, rangers for the treble??? Definitely possible WATP
That result truly starts the title race since Rangers won 3-1 vs Dundee yesterday and are now 5 points behind Celtic. With a game in hand and will not have a league match since they’re playing Hearts in the league cup which will get another game in hand and with the Old Firm coming up.
Celtic's wage bill is 20 times the size of Killie's. Fantastic result, but Celtic should be battering these teams considering the gulf in finances. Rodgers is now under massive pressure
@THEOBOTS really? So good players don't get paid more money? How much did Celtic spend on players this season then, yet apparently they need more signings to beat the likes of Kilmarnock 🤦
@@THEOBOTSYou literally get champions league money and have a squad worth 100s of millions. You’re closer to the prem teams than the rest of Scottish football are to you
@@robcarrol and if Kilmarnock are on 20x less in wage bills, how come they won? Exactly money, wages doesn’t guarantee anything and doesn’t make you a better player😚
Found out about 5 years ago my whole mums side of the family is from Kilmarnock and I’ve loved the club ever since. Hope to one day visit and see a game. MON THE KILLIE!
Good win for Killie the day, I said at the end of last season McInnes would get Killmarnock going in the right direction when alot of Killie fans weren't happy, Watkins and Kennedy are good signings, Killie definitely euro contenders this season!
@@georgegordon8859 Aye, I would say for aboot 6 seasons he did well, it started going sour efter that, alot of poor results in his last 2 seasons, unfortunately we've went backwards since he left because of poor appointments, Robson being the latest.
@Mike72-vv5zr I'll gee you a fact, Fergie absolutely hated rangers because of the abuse Cathy got fae the idiot bigots at your club coz she wiz a Catholic, hence Cathy loved it in Aiberdeen coz we dina bother with rangers and Celtic's shite. That's why Fergie loved beating oldco rangers, to get it right up um!
Scottish football will always play second fiddle to the English. Though, it is harsh to call it a ' Farmers league ' given Scotland's smaller population and don't attract the billionaires like English clubs do. Money is important, but I think the SFA should seriously think about added more teams in it's leagues to make it more interesting.
Scotland should stop looking at England, their leagues get trillions in TV money, Scotland gets crumbs, Gary Linnekear gets more money from the BBC than Scottish football does.
Celtic should not be in this position based on the resources that we have at our disposal. The Board has gambled on believing that Rodgers could turn mediocre players into consistent winners and this has not happened so far.
Asking about Celtic and Rangers league battle when the boys just wanting to enjoy his teams win. Don’t fall into a bad habit that puts many off Scottish media, football is about more then 2 teams !
Thinking the league was a given for Celtic was a silly thought! Rangers have halfed the lead from when he Beale was in charge and have a game in hand!! It's all to play for! Result in the 30th isn't the final decider either! It will go down to the wire .
Crazy how your past videos affect my brain.. Was actually,l thinking about the young lad at the start of the video 😂.. woke this morning wondering if he would be at the game today, forgetting that he works there. Just random shit.. Then sure enough first guy on your video today 😂😂
@@hoops_1888he’s English he’s a him a fact Tim’s to me will always be the Huns you have been since my dad went to Rangers games and the guy who does this is actually a Liverpool fan
because killie’s one of the clubs that were affected by the spl’s strict late 90s rules that all grounds in the top flight must be over 10k seats and like a LOT of other teams, they play at a ground thats too big for them even after reducing some of the capacity last year
im a rangers fan and i live in ayr .. so ive got a right to applaud the killie any score against that lot is fu#@ing beautiful the cones and a few bottles the night .. wherever you are in scotland with the black ice please bears be careful and safe to our bear and bearettes please be careful.. 🇬🇧 🐻🇬🇧
Mate it was fkn 11 minutes the officials as you say doing everything to help them when they're behind but it didn't work out for them today Big Brenda Gone In The New Year😂😂😂
Typical cheats, clear as day handball and red card for Johnston and can’t forget the usual whopping 10 extra minutes to help the cheats out😂😂😂 Fail Fail Brenda
That Killie fan saying Scottish Football isn’t money driven… this is a rare bit of success in the grand scheme of things. The arsecheeks of Glasgow absolutely blow everyone else out of the water financially. Having said that Dundee, Motherwell and Hearts all faced administration and the fans saved their clubs… the supposed millions of The rangers fan’s didn’t to theirs.
The league is looking like it’s going to go to Celtic, get a grip bud, not even half way through the season yet, plenty to be played for. Ain’t Celtic dropped 5 points in their last 5 games?
Celtic and Rangers are about as bad as each other this season but still think Celtic have a better mentality than Rangers players so think the league is still Celtics to win they will go on a good run after this loss most likely.
I’ll say it’s still celtics to lose but it’s certainly not won by any matter of means yet. People will say no European football after the break will help them & it most likely will but it’s a marathon not a sprint.
@@Mike72-vv5zr I just meant that they have the points and we don’t yet, trust me I don’t want them to win the league or any trophy at all, I want the three trophies and another good european run for the famous 🔴⚪️🔵
