A brand new Celtic version of O Holy Night arranged and performed by Irish Classical Crossover group Affinití in aid of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
O Holy Night has been our favourite Christmas song for many years and we decided to compose our own celtic arrangement of it this Christmas to help raise awareness and funds for the wonderful work of the SVP. www.svp.ie

I have to differ with you. It's an adequate version, except the instruments are too loud. This would be a very, very nice arrangement and performance if we heard it in a church, but for a professionally recorded version I'd give it a "B"

Yes, from people we tend to get either truth, from those prone to that, or grace and mercy from those who are more prone to that. But I haven't experoenced people offering them both together in equal or correct proportions. Only in Jesus they are fully present, equally of correctly proportioned, at the same time, the way they are needed. And that's Love, thats the Life, the Word that was in the beginning with God, and who was God. Love, Life - Jesus is full of truth and mercy. The Way of God.

Carol, I too have more loved ones in Heaven than left here on Earth. I have often felt that if this is what music is on Earth than it is impossible for me to conceive of the music in Heaven with the angels singing along. Celtic Woman performs the most beautiful arrangements of these precious songs with the most talented vocalists and musicians. OOO 🙄 If you’re talking about reverb then yes, most singers will use this in a recording if the natural acoustic in a room isn’t conducive to singing. But it has absolutely nothing to do with vocal range. This girl has a technically secure, well trained, beautiful voice - no amount of reverb can make someone sound this good!

That little inflection in an element of the Celtic influence in the arrangement. If you listen you can hear it at the equivalent point of each verse. Believe it or not, that little inflection in traditional Irish singing was transported by Irish emigrants to America and gave birth to the distinctive genre called "country music" - which is of course defined by its "overload" of inflections.
