Hello Richard! I'm also a painter and I worked in a cemetery in the Bronx, Woodlawn, for 17 years. Keep up the good work! Cemetery Code: Always whistle when approaching a man at work... and avoid getting hit in the head with a shovel.

I love how honest and forthcoming you are about your story. I am working on getting into groundskeeping myself, am an artist, grew up in the plant nursery business. And I also like the background music the video editor chose. I want to have a combination of composted body but have my hands and feet aquamated and turned into ceramics for my kids.

How do I become one!!?? Very interested! I have searched and searched for answers but still I have found nothing but confused people and funeral home lady yelling at me because I dont know what position I want. PLEASE HELP!

Just google local cemeteries near you. Then apply online or in person. Most are in person lol. After me moving from the city to a small agriculture town. I drove by one randomly desperately needing work. Drove through the open gate and parked. Then walked to the office(which in these areas are way more creepy), asked if hiring? And there you have it. I tell you this... It is very depressing and you will see all kinds of cases or I mean knowing the causes of death for who you dig plots for. As well as the staff is all weird as fuck too lol. But guess you have to be a little to want to work there lol. It desensitizes death that's for sure.
