I will agree war thunder is trash, but because its a waste of money and time if you want to unlock top tier without paying a buttload of money. To reach top tier jets on an easier research tree like japan, you would need to win every game and play close to top of team for around 300 hours straight (This may be outdated so it might take longer but somebody did the math). This would mean you would need to play the game for 12 hours a day, getting top score and winning every match, for about a month. And if you can't carry your team every game and don't have a big cache of silver lions you can basically take that time double or even triple that if you include grinding for silver lions to play jets, lost matches and low score matches, or if you play stuff like arcade every now and then. You can easily get close to 1000 hours grinding for a single top tier vehicle on one tree for free.

The Centauro B1 had a 105mm gun, the B2 have a 120/45 mm gun, completely stabilized wich permit to firing on mouvement(with automatic ammunitions system and choice of projectiles type, derived of Naval Compatto 76mm turret, wich permit to have 3 only crew(all others blindos 4 men, i think), lateral actives-protections(exploding tablets, anti squash-heads shots), automatic 12,7 turret by internal command and other improvements.. well if you swing the thing around with friendlies in the area during exercises and such, im sure they real happy to not get their vision shot just because you need to range something. when it comes to ranging with actual enemies in the way of the laser i guess no one really gives a shit as it is full on warfare anyways.

Also very interesting feature: a squad of these attack you like a "pack of wolves" because a special datalink system shares instantly all balistic data (wind, air density and so on) and targeting coordinates... so one Centauro can aim at a target and data is immediately shared allowing any of the group to fire on it or all to fire simultaneously at it. 😊

Come qualità di mezzi siamo messi bene, il problema è che non li produciamo, con 200 ariete (cioè quelli che abbiamo) non ci facciamo neanche mezza divisione.

@@francescoboselli6033 la torretta non è neanche elettrica è una delle migliorie che saranno fatte, il problema dello scafo dell'Ariete e che non sappiamo come è fatto M1 Abrams è fatto piastre metalliche, blocchi di ceramica, ariete ha bisogno di protezioni aggiuntive ecco perchè il motore era troppo poco potente e viene portato a 1600 HP ma non so se lui e fatto con blocchi di ceramica

@@MassimoErcolani il problema è che tutti i suoi sistemi d'arma e di puntamento sono obsoleti. Andrebbero praticamente sostituita tutta l'elettronica dei sistemi di puntamento e dei visori. Per quello dicevo che farebbero prima a cambiare la torretta. Anche il cannone andrebbe cambiato, o per lo meno dovrebbero sviluppare un nuova munizione con almeno 1000m-1100m di penetrazione se vuole essere al pari con gli standard attuali. Ma dubito che possano implementare un nuova munizione con questo potenziale, su un cannone così vecchio.

@TJ Murphy armour is useless on a wheeled veichle. This is an AFV ( armoured fighting veichle ), it bring firepower quickly on the battlefield. BMPs don't have much armour either, BTR can resist only small arm fire. And those are also APCs This is an a wheeled IFV with enough firepower to deal with anything you trow at it. They are extremly good in long range missions because they reuquire mich less logistic work. They have a particular role on the modern battlefield wich has nothing to do with MBT or anything else. And armouring a wheeled veichle is stupid, you can't possibly put enough armour on a wheeled veichle to resist to MBTs and not even to autocannons, without making it overweight, slow and incapable of traversing ofrroad terrains

@TJ Murphy maybe in the future will develop some reactive armour plate, that can be added to increase is protection. At least I hope so

@TJ Murphy the Centauro Is thinkes more as an IFV than for combat other tank. It can be use for scouting other tanks sure, but definitely it wouldn't shot first, if the crew isn't sure to disable the enemy tank in one shoot. But a light armor that could protect it for anti-tank infantry weapons, or auto cannon, wouldn't be a bad idea. And the more weight can be completed with a more powerful engine. Consider that Centauro has "only" 750hp

this is not a tank, its a tank destroyer its suppossed to hide and snipe out tanks or other vehicles its no meant for the tank role because: 1) it has very light armor, probably even 30mm guns can penetrate the front armor 2) it cant fire on the move (or it seems so from the presentation) and this is a very big disadvantage for a combat vehicle, being stationary makes you a very easy kill 3) it doesnt have tracks, its wheeled, this means it cant move in terrain where a tank would nermaly be able to the advantages it has as a tank destroyer: 1) it can be deployed in larger numbers because of less fuel consuption, less complexity for repairs, lower cost, easier to transport 2) its a smaller target, easier to hide and easier to run away-change position if detected 3) it has a big main gun and it can easily defeat even the strongest tanks out there

But I really don't know if the public will appreciate the idea of a wheeled tank with an autoloader... You know? Remember the russian tanks and russian tanks tends to explode in such spectacular way... But yeah, we can make it. And not just 3 rounds consecutives. What about 20? 🤣 Yeah it will sound cool until you realize that every tank or wheeled tank have a short amount of ammo on board. So if you waste all your rounds in a single attack... Yeap. 😎

@@danielefabbro822 I never mentioned an auto loader. But I don't think the public could care less if a military vehicle has one or not. And the problem with Russian vehicles brewing up isn't because they have autoloaders, it's because of how they store the ammo and propellants
