to lose one child is a loss like no other. but to lose all of your children is unfathomable. those parents will never be the same. I just can't imagine the pain this family is going through.
Not only 3 kids but one of the Parents lost their Father also. And one of their siblings lost a child. Sad and Senseless. Their boys will be together waiting for them.🙏
I knew a couple who lost both of theirs in a fire. Not long after, both parents health began to fail (and they were both just 40-41) and they died within five years of the tragedy, obviously of heartbreak.

The time it took for law enforcement to get dressed in all their SWAT uniforms and all that armor they could've been trying to capture this devil no further than he was from the bus.

Prayers aren't going to do anything. What this family needs is justice. The fact that this maniac was somehow able to escape prison, avoid a police search for 3 weeks when he was only half a mile away from the prison and acquire a weapon within that time span is beyond ridiculous. There needs to be a reform of the police department.
Police failed again. Of course racist Lopez committed a hate crime, but that gets swept under the carpet by te radical left that as made racist out of so many people.
The cruelty that some persons are capable of, the potential for senseless violence, the lack of even the tiniest shred of compassion and the willingness to kill without mercy, all paint a picture of an innocent family being slaughtered. And again we are reminded of how far humanity has yet to go.
There is a reason there is no name for a parent losing their child. Its unimaginable. I have lost a child and it is something u never come back from fully. My heart goes out to the parents of these kids. I hope they can heal in time.
This was my family. My blood… I cannot even begin to fathom this tragedy; it’s ineffable to me both as a human being and as a member of the Collins family. My cousin Mark and his grandchildren were such wonderful souls and I mourn them gravely. Please, Lord, forgive the bastard that did this and allow our family a moment of peace and guidance through this difficult time. I know not everyone believes in God but the comfort of his faith is what brought the Collins clan together. Peace be with all of us, young and old, no matter what doctrines of life we follow.

The worst part is knowing his escape was likely preventable. I can’t believe someone would be so desperate they would murder a grandfather and young children. I’m glad the suspect was shot and killed. Would have been even more terrible if he was allowed to live and return to jail after such terrible crimes.
You're absolutely right the law enforcement in Texas than the police departments across that state are just incompetent is failing its people. Be confident law enforcement would not have allowed him to escape and certainly would not have allowed him to be gone this long. A confident law enforcement department would not have allowed officers to stand outside while Maniac shot children for over an hour did around battling parents who were willing to risk everything to save their children while the police did not. I think the departments in Texas need to definitely be defunded because they're doing nothing and they are not functionable

She was also saved from surgery the morning she was scheduled for an operation for a broken hip, already confirmed by X-ray. We prayed the night before and the doctors were stunned the next morning after a preop X-ray showed no break. The doctors offered no explanation and simply released her.

He was in hideout for 3 weeks and only a HALF MILE away?!?! That was a poor manhunt. There’s no possible way someone is that close to where they escaped and not get caught. No possible way he was alone in this. Definitely had help and they need to lockup everyone and everything who was involved. This is absolutely insane.

The family’s property had been searched and cleared before. However, his friend says what he learned from Texas Rangers, that there was a break-in just days before at a neighbor’s property, was critical information. “I do feel that if Mark had been made aware, he was in a day or two of being on his property, he would have never exposed those kids to that danger," said Crane.

My phone would never stop going off. Inmates escape all the time and I live between two. Local jail and the heavy prison unit. Literally happens all the time. Your sense of safety of prisons is extremely overrated.
This is such a tragic situation. Evil will always exist and it is important to be prepared for it. Lock your doors, get a smart security system, have a dog that barks at strangers, have a way to defend against these evil people. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.
And vote for politicians that make it harder for psychopaths to gain access to weapons. The best defense is a good offense. Stop murderers from getting access to guns.

And where's the justice? Yes, the scumbag was killed by cops. But as far as the parents are concerned....where's the justice? Yes. there's closure. Sort of. But to have all three children taken at once, so violently and so needlessly...I just can't fathom that kind of pain. I lost a son 9 months ago to a doped-up driver that caused a head-on collision and killed my son. who was on his way home from work. That's a pain I never imagined I'd have to live through. But to lose 3? All three?? I just can't. My heart is shattered for these parents. I'm so sorry. I really don't think, even with their strong faith, that they'll ever really find peace.
