Hi from the UK, over here we don’t get that many tornadoes, but when we do they are small, but they can still do damage and cause the occasional fatality. So when I see what goes on when the big ones hit STUN me. It never fails to amaze me that so much carnage can be caused, yet some of the shelves with the produce on remain standing. I guess it’s a bit of a lottery. Some buildings get flattened as if a massive bulldozer has come to town, yet some of the other buildings remain untouched, even if there next to each other. MIND BOGGERLING !!!!!!
So, if you are at the Central Market and you hear a tornado is coming, you: 1. Quickly fill several carts with pumpkins and proceed to a corner of the store 2. Lay down and pile the pumpkins on top of yourself 3. Easily survive
Good to know, where is safe and where not. There was a tornado in Ohio,...I was in a big box grocery store,....high end foods,.....we were sent into the freezer rooms, to take cover. Most of us had our carts full of food. I began eating it,...figured if I was going to die,...I didn't want to be hungry right before. Most were watching games on their cellphones, people yelled for other's to describe weather reports,..nobody would do it. The room was in the 40s ,..very cold, we weren't dressed warmly. I suggested we raid the wine storage rooms,....nobody did. The storm blew over us,...never got close. It was scary.
Tornados are so eerie and bizarre. It literally ripped part of the roof off and tore the doors off the hinges but those pumpkins outside never moved an inch. Also, the way it moved those cars in unison in the parking lot. Jeez
The people in this storm are so dumb! They're acting like this isn't a big issue and they're staying inside the store while it's falling apart. No one is running.
