I swear, this is the most unintentionally hilarious chasing video i have ever seen.

This is the same crew that captured the formation of the EF-5 Joplin tornado. They may sound a little goofy during filming, but they are REALLY GOOD at this and manage to get incredibly great footage that can even serve in research purposes.

This tornado came within a mile of hitting my home. It was a pretty cold day, so you wouldn't expect any kind of bad weather like this. We were watching the news and a friend of ours called and asked where we were. We told them we were at home in Petal. She immediately panicked and told us it was headed straight for us. I got off the phone and opened my front door. I saw the scariest, black and green sky I had ever seen. We were living in a trailer park at the time...there were gigantic pine trees all throughout it. I told my fiance we were getting in the car and hauling ass. I know they tell you not to get in a vehicle to try and outrun a tornado, but a trailer is as safe as a cardboard box. A metal vehicle is, sadly, a better option...considering all the pine trees. Luckily, it narrowly missed us. Just down the road there was an ACE Hardware building. Thank God it was Sunday when this thing hit. ACE was closed. I drove past there and saw that there was nothing left of ACE . The whole building just disappeared, save for about a foot of the foundation. We were lucky it hit on a Sunday when a lot of people either weren't at work or were in church. Had it hit during the business week, there most certainly would have been a lot of deaths.

So I actually started reading some of the comments as I was appx 1 minute into the video and after getting the sense that the word continue may had been repeatedly abused, I went back to the beginning and started watching it again. At first I thought, "I haven't heard him say it at all." And then they got past the firetruck. I immediately started a comparison count of how many times the word "continue" was uttered vs how many times the wiper blades cycled. The windshield wiper blades came in a close 2nd.

I had to shut it off, I just could not "Continue" any further.

I love that they stopped to help the injured. With a storm like this, there can’t be enough helping hands.

End of the workday and I land up on the most unintentionally hilarious tornado video ever. The ending chase is something to behold. I’ve never heard the word continue used so liberally.
