Steroid injections is not a long term solution. The family Doctor I had growing up also prescribed Topicort back in those days. I only needed steriod injections twice. Once when I used to work at a feed mill and I had a severe reaction to Cottonseed hulls and 7 years later when I ate something that had an ingredient and I had a reaction. My Doctor also wanted me to list what soaps I used, what materials I was exposed to at manufacturing plant where I used to work and all the foods I normally ate or something I had prior to having eczema. Treatment is important but for long term so is prevention and avoiding those certain things that trigger allergies and eczema.
Dr. Rapaport helped me thu this. And he's the doctor that actually coined the tsa, tsw, rss terms. Glad he's back on the news. Hopefully people will start listening to him and not gas lit this condition.
