Iraq was the centre of education and one the most "civilized" places in the Middle East back then. Many peoples from all kinds of places migrated to there. But yes, many were brought as slaves.

Iraqi people can only have white skin, olive skin, and tan skin with many hair colors and eye colors. Anyone who looks like a South Asian (Indian or Pakistani) or Black African are NOT real Iraqi people. They are foreign immigrants or slaves brought to Iraq generations ago. Real Iraqi people such as Iraqi Arabs and Iraqi Chaldeans and Iraqi Assyrians will never consider these Black people as "Iraqi".

Abraham was from Iraq, he was a Semite. According to Jewish tradition, Shem was brown and Ham was black. Afro-Africans are from Ham and not Shem. Africans got mixed up when Abraham married Hager an Egyptian. Later Moses married an Ethiopian and that is how Africans entered the Jewish tradition.

Go check out the statues of the ancient Sumerians, none of them have an Afro-African appearance.
