A Centurion Transport triple road train fuel tanker runs through the townsite of Wittenoom in Western Australia's Nor' West as it services the FMG Solomon Minesite fuel delivery contract. The Prime mover is a Mack. Friday 26th May 2017 0905 hours.

I ran that road hundreds of times with triples myself, carting between Port Hedland and FMG Solomon. Its an amazing part of the world. Good times.

We were just saying today how much we miss Wittenoom. My first job as a dentist was there and at Tom Price. Not much left ofd the old place now.

Wonderful scenery, great truck and great aerial shot, I turned off the sound and - Highway Star - by Deep Purple ran next to it ... sounds great with it! I love the Road Trains in Australia! Greetings from Vienna, Austria in Europe

Yes the music came from a Goa Trance thumbdrive given to me. Sadly the drone does not see much use these days due to ongoing problems with it...

That is a ghost town, it was closed in the 70s because of blue asbestos mine nearby. It was all outlawed & closed.

⁠@@jimcrawford5039the asbestos was killing both the miners and the families. Blue asbestos is everywhere in the town. WA is trying to close it off to prevent tourists going into the town and the mine itself. WA has not been able to figure out the best and least expensive way to clean and get rid of the asbestos.
