Using my GoPro Hero 10, I filmed a village cricket match playing for Patterdale Cricket Club in the Lake District. It was an absolutely brilliant day made all the better for scoring my first century of the season. Special mention to Jude (my fellow SAFFA) who also scored a century - pleasure batting with you! Great day of cricket all round.

One of your best videos, amazing place. As to your sentiments at the end, I completely agree. I restarted playing 3 years ago after a 15 year break. I now play for 3 clubs, the main one being 2 years old and building an incredible future. I have met friends for life and like you, have a club cricket RU-vid channel which (however small) brings me immense joy. So glad to have found cricket again.

Well played, and that was one hell of a cricket ground. I joined my village cricket team when I was 13 and been with them for 4 years now. I'm a top order batsman and a leg spin bowler. My best match performance so far was 128 not out batting first, and then taking 7 for 45 defending 291. It was a good game, but the opposition only had 1 fast bowler as their other fast bowler was injured that day sadly, so most of my runs came from spinners but it was still a lot of fun.
