Yeah man for sure. I bet he'll get all scared and cry "why did you do that?" He definetely treats people like dogshit in public.. youre right he hasnt been punched in the face before
It was explained on the FGTV stream yesterday by Champ on what happened, but basically he was gonna send him to losers while he was eating lunch. Also, he challenged Neo (a good friend of Champ) to a MM and claimed he was ducking him, but by the time they met in CEO, Unknown didn't have any money to challenge him which is a no-no if your calling out a player to a MM. As a result of what happened and Unknown running his mouth, we have this video right here.
So for people watching this. The reason f champ is shit talking unknown so much is cause unknown was calling out champ a lot saying, he was shit and would body him. And then he met him in a tourney so champ showed him up and gave unknown some of his own medicine. Unknown shit talks everyone. When he wins he pops off and shit talks and when he loses he blames it on "stuck button" or some shit. F champ wanted to show what true skill meant. If you watch and listen f champ even tells him what he's going to do and gives him chances too. If champ were playing j Wong or Chris g and did this. He would lose in a heartbeat.
you do have me there. I haven't met him, so you're probably right. My feelings on this topic and a lot of others has changed a lot since 2015 since ive been involved in my local fgc more, lol
BenShortsIsFag yea that's why you hear unknown yell "because i'm confident in my play!" basically admitting that he was talking about beating him before all this.
Botan San i love him cuz he wanted to be the villain and he’s actually the best one at that, bringing hype to the crowds, giving drama to all FGC, seriously this guy is truly admirable (though dark Phoenix is shit but there’s nothing wrong with it too)
This match happened after Unknown was jesting that he was sending F Champ into losers randomly at a mcdonalds. This is what happens when you talk smack.
its funny how people forget that when you run your mouth for some people the response is not to run it back but to run their fist through your face. Champ should have just took the easy W and left
If someone is willing to hit you over a video game, then I can 100% assure you that they've got bigger problems to deal with than seeking 3rd party validation from random people at a tournament.
BWAHAHHA. the best part was when champ snapped phoenix back in after he told unkown to tag her out. i probably would have given up video games if that happened to me
@@JagiFrisbee trust me it was. I was playing a casual sf match when it happened but me and the other guy stopped. That was a big topic for the rest of the day lol.
@@TrueClipsDen Ahahaha dang yeah I can imagine, I wudda stopped too if I heard them yelling saltily like that. It's hilarious to watch, musta been quite the sight irl.
Lol wat. The only thing that was awkward was the other guys tantrum. Idk why you hate FChamp but your bias is showing. Wouldn't you smile after that if you were Fchamp?
Totally agree with you there. Player's skill should be the highlight not this. But the community enjoys this and is very comfortable with what they have. I really don't see anything changing that anytime soon. That said, I watch every fgc stream I can.
Well we'll have to wait for that seeing as Champ knocked Chris-G out of EVO arguably the most intense game during top 8 both players brought their A game for sure props to Chris G although I would love to see a Filipino Champ Vs Noel Brown matchup excuse my lack of punctuation by the way :)
This type of shit talking may get you hurt one day, You have no idea what some of these peoples mental states are. If you sit and talk shit for that long to someone's face, he may not even say a word, he may just come over out of nowhere and bust you right in your head 3 or 4 times before people probably manage to pull him off you. IT's a tactic to make people mad and play poorly, but it's also dangerous. I've seen people back in the day in arcades hit someone over the chair for shit talking, dude was taken to the hospital and never played again cause he had brain damage.
+Chad Thompson I know someone personally whose head got shoved into the screen at the arcade back in the day, that shit happened. I've been threatened at the arcade many times myself, it was part of playing fighting games in the 90's.
God damn, i'm not reading that fucken book you just wrote. and you're calling me nerdy when you're just some shit faced troll who writes articles nobody gives a shit about.
you can be great at games without shit talking the other guy. a lot of the top dudes that played mvc3 didn't say shit the entire match. but in certain people have different strategies. sorry people but shit talk is part of competitive gaming. you either do it or deal with it.
one last thing quoting Chris Hu " 16 is farily ok" This was when he was questioned about a good age for dating girls.Someone shouted in the background "How old are you?" To which of course he didn't respond.
Sean Puffynipples They are the reason why I dont want to go to an event. I don't want people like this around me. Also I haven't been watching animes lately. Just at home playing videos games.
I didn't need to visit Kotaku.I have my memory as well as youtube.I am thankful that the community was against brazzers and some months back during cross assault they voiced their displeasure over the harassment incident. The FGC is kinda like an young Ken.Brash but has potential. If the FGC can streamline itself it can be more flashy than MLG because it already has personality.Staging beef isn't necessary either.Just remarkable skill and personality.
it's oki doki. i thought the same thing until i heard commentators calling him 'Unkown' and more videos of him referring to him as 'Unknown'. unless no one had ever thought to even ask him what his handle is, 'Unknown' is definitely his handle.
no this is just a match where there was a bit of mini beef before. he doesnt pop off on everyone and tbh he doesnt get angry or pop off as much as he did in the past before he was sponsored by Complexity.
It looked to me like FC got really salty about the match, copped an attitude (you can see it in the video, before the other guy said anything), and the other guy just didn't take his shit. FC has a big mouth from what I've seen through TY videos and streams.
You really need to write the back story in the description of the video of WHY fchamp was behaving this way. People who don't know clearly had the wrong idea about him.
I've actually never seen Peter talk trash outside of casuals...granted I'm fairly new to the scene, but from what I've seen, he's pretty focused during tournaments. If I saw him act like this in a tournament, I'd be just as upset as with Ryan. Although, i still feel like raising his fist during Gravity Squeeze is crossing the line.
agreed. I know many see this as amusing but It really is hard to take the Fighting Game Commmunity seriously when people act like children but then again maybe those guys are just teenagers but then again...its still hard to take it seriously
Regardless of what may or may not have happened before this match, if you're that easy to rile up, you are fair game for it. If you don't want to get razzed, then don't lose your cool when people razz you or else you are gonna keep getting razzed cause people love to see that shit!
