I love how NBNHMR won the tournament and Hotashi will just talk mad shit the entire video.

like right after this is when Hotashi started his "netplay tournaments are bad practice" arc (NBNHMR is infamously a netplay tourney grinder)

Hotashi is up his own ass most of the time. He also thinks dishing out 'optimal' responses each and every time is the 'way to go' based on frame data, NBNHMR doesn't play the data, he plays the opponent. Put bluntly Hotashi is just mad his 'Top Nago' Status got snatched from him, so he has to compensate pretending to be the 'expert' to someone that can go toe-to-toe with his ass, with all of his apparent 'mistakes'. It's the same shit you've seen with Hotashi getting bodied in Third Strike and his buddies trying to tell him to get his head out of his ass because the game didn't work the way his '5 brain logic' told him it 'should work' like.

I play like NBNHMR a lot online because Hotashi plays frame by frame so players of lvl 1800 or aroundish generally knows all of Nagos tight sht. So what I do is play like NBHMR until they are conditioned to press 5p and 2k on fukyo then I start back fukyo into clone into Hotashi gameplay. Make 2 styles for every situation, one fake and one tight. What results is a opponent who is in fear of the fake sht at the same time has to handle tight frametraps in pressure. It takes 10-20 matches to get use to it, change the situations a little, the reason why this works is because you are technically exchanging hp for the opponents braincell. And the fact that Nago has insane guts and hilarious damage. You'll win because whenever you're in pressure the thing they are countering with is 5p or 2k>2d which meterlessly doesnt result in a combo. But if they get scrambled and get countered because I started tight pressure, boom 40% of their hp is gone.

Most players who are up their own asses over Frame-Data just generally dont understand how Strive works. Yes, it's good to know what 'technically' can beat what move at which point, but getting a solid read on your opponent is often times way more important then just sperging on Frame Data like an Autist.
@imtiaze642
@imtiaze642 Год назад
@@nkznkz3800 Yet most ppl will try to grab on wakeup or grab fukyo. Also this particular comment is irrelevant now as a much needed nerf was delivered to Nago as his hp scales with Blood meter now, So this particular trick doesnt work anymore. I can explain my new playstyle but as this is an old video, I wont bother if someone doesnt want to hear it.

Ayy sometimes being ballsy as fuck to rob folks works but you can't rely on it to dumpster people in tournaments without a ton of conditioning

Lol Hotashi stops winning tournaments and jumps at the first chance to judge the new best Nago. Maybe you are the one who has something to learn since you didnt make It to top 8? Also yeah suuurely you dont care about who wins, your reaction to that comment was so calm and carefree

@YoungYoung95
@YoungYoung95 Год назад
@@Hotashi That sucks and i am sorry for you and your friends, but it doesnt change that you just HAD to stay relevant somehow and not be overshadowed by a better Nago player, didnt you? And so you did what was in the interest of preserving your idea of being the best Nago on earth by pointing out all the flaws of the winner of the tournament as he wins, even though nobody asked for your opinion. I wouldnt care that much if this episode wasnt consistent with your megalomania and you seeing yourself as the best at all times (fyi, you are not) and bragging and being arrogant as in this video and bullying people on your stream over nothing (which you do often) and even turning It into RU-vid videos. You say you dont want to be predatory in your content yet you act downright toxic far too often out in the open (whether you mean It or It Is just an act for the content changes nothing imho) and you could really could use a heavy dose of humility. Thats all i have to say.
