Will this process also remove a spray on ceramic product like systemX renew? Say it’s a 6 month product but 3 months go by and the customer wants a better coating with a full 3-5 year ceramic coat?

you can be.. but having an option to apply a protective layer to a clean clear coat only increases profitability so you definately should never remove that service as many clients may want that done periodically throughout the year.

Biggest myth is you have to polish before you coat. Do what the customer pays for and wants. Though as a Civic owner with gloss black wheels. I almost passed out when I saw the EZ Detail Brush used to clean them. Wheel Woolies or any other microfiber brush should really only touch gloss black wheels. If the owner doesn't care then carry on.

If you apply a ceramic coating and you don't polish or buff you have no business applying coatings .... a claybar treatment alone mars the finish/clear coat .... a coating without polishing is and looks bad and prevents full luster, this is what happens when these kids think they know about paint correction and protection .... this kid is a 🤡 if he thinks a ceramic coating without polishing is ok .... I never apply a ceramic coating without claying, paint correction or enhancement ..... your name is on that work, my name would never be tied to lazy work like this kid's 😂 ...
