Ceramics meet scissors to create rooftop art 

Ceramic clipping is a unique form of decorative architecture that’s popular in southern Fujian and the Chaoshan area of Guangdong. The art employs brightly-colored, thin and fragile ceramics as the basic material. Using scissors and other tools, these are skilfully trimmed into small ceramic chips of various shapes and sizes, and then embedded as decoration on the gray bricks. #ceramic #architecture #chinesearchitecture
