Sorry I'll be that guy but it is not meant to be understood it is a signature not a doctors prescription but what's important is that it has to be unique enough to any other signature so that it won't be easily forged on documents
I literally stopped focusing on the handwriting of the J's and was completely MESMERIZED by the pen being so fluid and amazing. Where the heck can I get that?!
I was told by a pharmacy tech that the Dr. Handwriting is an actual writing style. Something about preventing people from writing their own prescription for powerful painkillers and stuff.
@@varsoonhks3211I agree with you, Professor. My Elementary School Teacher ALWAYS pushed for CLEAR penmanship! She taught us that; “There’s NO point in writing ANYTHING, if it CAN NOT be read EASILY afterwards!”
@@calvin4319you do realise, a fountain pen has a particular use. If unlike the person in the video you actually write correctly will make up strokes thin and down strokes thick. And regardless, you can’t refill a ballpoint, fountain pens are reusable if you take care of them and don’t bend or ruin the nib
How many pretentious and pedantic replies can I get to this comment I wonder. Keep them coming folks. You're just mad that I'm a pragmatist and you're not lol.
How did none of you get that he's not trying to write a fancy J, those are examples for a signature. I guess sugnatures with J initial are hard or smth?
It’s a signature. It doesn’t even have to say your name, it just has to be what you individually signed on a legally binding document/check/etc to endorse it.
Hard to copy, not completely unidentifiable, and a signature and calligraphy are different, because they're used for different purposes. Calligraphy is supposed to be legible, there are different styles, but they were originally meant to be artistic but easily read. Would you have known what letter was being written if you weren't told ahead of time? My name starts with J, and I wouldn't be able to, even with a decent exposure to a wide variety of traditional calligraphy styles.
