@@UserNamedTenonto Well you can try Dodge it or "outcircle" it at least. Cera has a pretty good Chance to survive a Carno for its size imo. Sure you cant Facetank it but you wont Go down Without a good Fight :)
When cerato was introduced it was supposed to be the new land apex but the fact that it needs bodys to even fight and actually have decent health remaining makes it feel so underwhelming
Well, in real life a carno would fuck up cera. Cera was mainly just a scavanger and smaller dinos hunter, never the apex. He lived during the times when dinos like Allosaurus roamed the earth, so he had to adapt and become a scavenger.
@@tymotysochor377Actually Cera was not a scavenger, while allos lived on plains or forests Ceras lived near rivers or swamps, he killed mostly small animals and Crocs
it is true that the ceratosaurus was adapted to a more underdog-ish life, but it was still capable of delivering a NASTY bite infact the ceratosaurus was named after its razor edged teeth, and it was very manueverable, the carno was like a stronger more lumbering version of the cera we could say, the carno wouldnt be able to damage the cera very much and itd be knocked over more easily, the cera has a more nasty bite and more of a stance of an underdog, realistically it depends on the individual because a carno was more of a fast demon rather than a brawler, which is what the ceratosaurus was better built for, the cera would do more damage but the carno could probably take more, meaning it would truly depend on who gets the first bite its kind of like moose vs bear, cera being the bear@@tymotysochor377
@@Smellie_Buddyit’s ecological niche was more towards scavenging and bullying, however it certainly wasn’t impossible for it to hunt. Very similar to a modern day bears ecological niche.
@@KreKrexlerThat makes no sense, because while yes bears do mostly just scavenge and bully, they are also the most powerful land predators on the planet. Have you seen videos of bears easily killing moose and taking down bison?
Actually they pretty much equal to each other, but carno can control the fight much confidentedly due the speed he always can reateat if he didn't the start the fight well while cera can just acting upon the carno actions
I feel ease of use should be kept in mind. A lot of people dont properly use carnos speed and abilities, and Cera is a lot easier to use in a fight because its abilities are simple. In a fight all you really need with Cera is good timing and positioning and you're set.
In real life it would be a 90/10 in favor of the carno, it was bigger, faster, heavier, had a stronger bite force, and new studies on the skin of carno suggest it had elephant-like skin that helped with heat exchange and stamina, in the isle they fictionalized cerato to make it viable
I've wrecked 2 Ceras at once, 9 Raptors at once, most recently just killed like 5 Pachy a mix of juvi - adults. A skilled Carno player is a Force to be reckoned with! Of course at the end of each battle it comes down to SKILL.
if you got the charge on it then that works but if it was face to face demon to demon and he was a 7/10 player and you were a 7/10 player hed 100% win because of the sheer movement the cera has on the carno by the time a cera lands a couple of charge bites on the body after dodging the carno all it has to do is tank the carno meaning the only way you can beat a cera is by face tanking or charging it, in reality it depends on the individual and the position of stealth the player has put into the attack its kind of like lion vs tiger in a forest (tiger being the more adept animal aka cera)
The devs' carno favoritism is obscene. "Small game hunter" my ass, they fictionalized it like crazy and turned Ceratosaurus from a nimble and lethal infectionist to a garbage disposal that can't win fights
i think carno is stronger in a direct on fight but cerato is much better for survival. It can be in bigger packs, it can be a cannibal if it needs to, it doesn’t need nearly as much food as carno and it has better turn speed meaning its easier for it to survive attacks.
@@jomarmarquez3926Carnotaurus actually had low bite force and a small head but high jaw kinesis to swallow small prey items whole. The high biteforce seen in older studies is inaccurate and based on skull shape, not jaw strength. Hasn't been thought to be like that since the 90s. Ceratosaurus's bite isn't ludicrously strong but its head is large and teeth are oversized with high kinesis to create deep, gashing wounds that get infected rapidly and lead to death. Cerato is built to ward off larger animals, Carno is built to run fast and hunt down smaller ornithopods. Cerato would outturn it, give it a lethal wound with its huge knife teeth and saunter off to watch it die of infection
@@madceratophryid That was the standard view of carnotaurus in the early 2000s but most of what you said has been disproven. in the 2022 article: "Estimating bite force in extinct dinosaurs using phylogenetically predicted physiological cross-sectional areas of jaw adductor muscles" Carnotaurus is estimated at 7,172 N Ceratosaurus is estimated at 5,998 N carno was bigger, heavier, faster, stronger, and if they coexisted, carno would simply prey on cerato
ceras have way better manueverability, almost equal biteforce, alt bite dmg is stronger than a normal carno bite, its able to control the fight like a puppet master, make a carno throw up, it can dodge all of the carnos attacks, more stamina meaning it can outrun a carno, and it can take just as many hits, the carno has an overpowered charge, a slightly stronger bite, pivoting (which is honestly really bad), it can come in like a rocket but at the cost of its moves, it is mostly similar but it can vomit and it cant predict a ceras moves like a cera can predict a carnos, this is how the fight would go; carno comes in and charges, the cera knows its there, and runs out of the way. It then gets behind the carno landing a swift charge bite, but the carno alt bites, misses, and gets bitten another time do to its pivot cooldown, the carno tries chasing and charging again but is dodged, this time the carno learns from its mistakes and fakes the cera, making it try to run around, the carno runs and quickly turns and then charges, knocking the cera down, the carno lands 1 bite before the cera gets up. it gets up a jukes the carno landing another bite it sets up a charge bite again and makes the carno vomit, then it goes it for a death charge, finishing the fight.
Depends on skill and other things. Skilled cera can just dodge all bits and bite his tail. Bile bite is kinda OP too. Carno have better ambush cause of that charge. Final decision: If both skilled cera wins If new players carno wins (he can just charge and bite him to death asuming that some players are not skilled enough to dodge those)
I’ve won 1v3s against carnos as a cerato, Carno is easier to use but cerato has more potential. The only thing an adult cerato has to fear about is big Deinos, packs of carnos, and packs of ceratos
What???? You must be seriously good then, because I’ve only won a single fight against a carno in a 1v1. My Strat is to only hit with charged bites. Dodging their charges and attacks. And I barely won. Do you by any chance have the clip?
@@EdmundiumHitting I do In fact have the clip, it was 2 adults and one sub adult from the fight. My main strategy was moving out of the way and biting their tails, if I couldn't dodge an attack I would trade a charged bite, and If a charge was inevitable I would turn around to avoid my head being hit and instead have my tail hit. The fight ended with one adult dying, the sub just running in the beginning, and the other adult badly bruised. I cannot share the video yet but once I finish editing it I will share it with you
If you need to win a fight against a car I and you are a creator if you are the same size get to a forest and make a lot of turns carnos have terrible turning so eather you get away or you win but you need to bait them in to the forest
Nah carno needs a good ambush to come close to beating cerato will bacteria, cerato dodging the ramb is a peice of cake and the charge bite is like 15% dmg
Nah even in a 1v1 close quarters fight, a skilled carno eats a skilled cera. As long as it avoids it’s charged bites which will be easy because of how fast carno is. It can take it down. Especially since carno players usually control the fight. I play carno a lot and have taken down full grown ceras at 75%.
@@Buttface08 It’s really not, in a stand off the first thing the carno is gonna do is put distance between them, even with its slow acceleration cera has no chance of catching one from a distance. Carno can put distance between them then go in for the charge, cera struggles to dodge charges because it’s not agile enough like utah is.
@@Buttface08 Must be fighting ass carno players or you’re good, only reliable way to dodge charge is run away from the carno and turn at the last or close to last second. Otherwise a carno will clip you. Carno at full stomach would be almost impossible to beat for a cera
If a skilled cerato player fought a skilled xarno player it would be 100% 50/50. take the words i said above lightly as i am a trodon main, roast me in the comments idc. Torodon solos both.
@@EdmundiumHittingu did give weight to carno and more weight = more health so basically carno takes durability and only thing that cera takes is prob bleed resistence
