We know you're not a magician and I know you probably lose out on so many views because you don't rush to get videos out for the new dino, well you might rush lol but it's clearly evident that you put in so much more work than RU-vidrs that have a guide out in a few hours, And sadly RU-vid probably won't push it as much due to it being a shorter guide, which is massive shame, come on guys..let's share this around, comment and like! it's the best guide on the net right now.
Id rather wait for the Right way to tame the best from this channel. The faso video extremely helped so now I tame them for anyone on my server . Best ark channel hands down.
lmao your clearly dont onow him wake up dude his in the actual game you low brain are you mental dint you ever ear his voice when you find note daaaa he dosnt have time to waste whit that anymore his on another level
I just rented a server. Everyone is welcome it's cross play friendly, but it is set to duo tibe only if your interested name is ( Earth Boosted Rates/ Modded /Duo Tribe only )
The more ceratos you have attacking you, faster they get drunk: 5 at the same time and you need only one coctail (but it is close to end when they are all drunk)
I thought I was missing something with the cerato. But it turns out it is just kind of lame for what you have to go through to tame it. Might have had an extra negative experience as there are no bees on my se server. Bc someone decided to build on them. So no top kibble to use. Good video tho. The second attack feels like it goes how it wants regardless of where I'm looking tho lol.
If you tame multiple of them at the same time, the drunk status stack faster. Just let 5-6 ceratos attack you while you are actually taming a 150 can massively reduce the use of cocktail down to 2-3 for a 150 tame.
I have noticed this tbh, bit harder to find more than one on The Island for me but yeah very common on Scorched! I've had more success having more than one attack me there!
I was riding my raft and saw one with a baby. Then I brought it out to the water to try killing it but it almost got to close and nearly killed me but then 2 megaladons (one was alpha) came and killed it so I got a free baby
Can’t seem to find the nerfs to this creature from mod to official. I know the xiphactinus got some stat changes aswell. Does anyone know exactly what was changed between the 2?
From my personal experience they seem no different from the modded versions! Check out the RU-vidr @Freyn, maybe chuck down a comment on one of his videos, I know he dives into all those details in the DEV kit, I sadly have no idea how to use it :(
Great video. I will throw out this. The spawns on scorched earth are terrible. This thimg out spawns carnos. Seriously I can't got 30 meters with out running into one. Lol
Is this tame even viable on smalls in a PvP situation? With so many other dinos that give great buffs seems kinda useless in smalls. Obviously yuti king of buffing but seems like even mammoth drums is more useful then this…
I'm honestly unsure as I don't play PVP, I do think the healing buff isn't as strong as showcased, I would say Yuty and Mammoth buffs are way better in PVP though
Everyone keeps saying it was misspelt in the mod and was still misspelt when released to the official game. I'm saying haemoglobin because that is what it should be 🤣
I like to think BEY plays the long game & uploads for the community as a whole, rather than for the initial uptick of engagement that comes when new content drops. Like, sure, we know a lot of this by now and he's technically late to the party BUT it's the most concise, organized, and most importantly accurate guide out there. It's the guide that should come up & be referenced going forward for those of us who need a refresher or those who weren't there for launch & trying to figure this creature out. Can't help but respect prioritizing quality over speed. Only thing missing would be saddle information. I can't seem to figure out where to get higher quality saddles for these guys. Anywho, great video as always!
Thank you for the kind words! I know myself I'll always be late to the party haha so I try to make it as quick and information packed as possible :D...Yeah sadly that was because I don't actually know yet, I haven't found any yet either...Someone on my server did find an ascendant Xiphactinus saddle from a treasure map so they should be in the loot tables at least!
@@BEYPlaysGames I'm grateful for it! I tend to watch your videos just to see if you figured anything out the others missed because I find that's often the case As for saddles, I've been picking them up in the underwater caves! I'm sure they appear elsewhere, but that seems to be the best place to look for a Cerato saddle.
@@ravenousglavenus7656 Thanks again mate! :D appreciate the kind words as always! Oh nice, thanks for letting me know, yeah probably can find them in a few places then! They're really cool! Can't wait to tame some! I have noticed that if you somehow find more than 1 in the wild and let them all attack rather than 1 the drunk percentage seems to rise a little quicker!
@@BEYPlaysGames That's actually really cool!! I was wondering if it would be efficient to tame multiple at a time since the concoctions are such a pain to farm, but I figured it wasn't worth it. Might be worth it after all, if the percentage goes up faster like you say! Cheers man!
Why after the recent patch my ASA on xbox series x run at 30fps even witch cloud and Grass and fog off? It always runs at 40-60 fps but after that patch it run at 30. Anyone know why?
Dang I wish cannot island worked for the server I'm on for official. Some dude foundationed and pillared it to oblivion so stuff can't spawn anymore. I'll definitely check out other spots.
Damn that sucks! I think that is the most annoying thing about official. they share spawns with Carnos it seems, but yeah that's a shame, Carnos are best found on Carno island ofcourse ;(
@@kotzer71Well kinda I guess but yeah I was under the impression that other than that they did share Carno spawns!you’re probably right then, cause Carnos almost spawn anywhere lol, that’s probably why in the video he mentions Carno island being the best location to find them! I’ve found a lot there 😁
I did wonder if that was a thing but thanks for letting me know, it's the main reason why I recommended bringing far more cocktails than the required amount needed for kibble taming XD
@@BEYPlaysGames yea i did in scorched earth and it appears ones i reached 75% of tame with prime meat he shakked himself and started going back to aggroing and we had to redrunk it again
Yep! Not sure tbh, I hope they do for Scorched at least, they keep killing everything in sight and there's so many of them 🤣 you struggling to find them?
10 hemo cocktails to tame one Cera ? Wtf is that. It used to be two or three if it was really a high level with the mod... It's going to be like the fasolasuchus. You won't tame one cause it's a bother to ever do it
10 is a safe bet as I did this level 125 on 1x taming and I think I used 4 but there's a boost to harvesting/XP etc right now so I think taming would have been quicker than 1x...Stuff can also go wrong though, with the old modded version they could lose aggro causing the drunk level to drop also. This one held aggro on me but I always say it's better to be over-prepared than under-prepared and there's no spoil timer so I would assume people would want to tame a high level mating pair so it works out either way!
I've been breeding them on official server and they seem to be buged the baby stats don't match the parents only when in a cryopod. good video keep it up👍🏻 little tip I've found out with the buged stats if you teleport somewhere and back to base it put the stats back to normal hope that helps
I'm unsure as of now. I know of someone that found a Xiphactinus saddle BP from a treasure map, so you can probably find them from those, hopefully someone that has found 1 else ware will be able to comment :D...If I find any i'll be sure to comment back!
Yeah i've noticed it's crazy on Scorched, on the plus point, it makes them easier to tame, just let a bunch of them attack your tank tame and they get drunk even quicker as apposed only trying to tame one at a time XD
So what Dino got shafted on spawn density for this? I’ve noticed with a lot of the modded creatures I basically lost all Allo spawns due them being Eucharca-whatever it’s called and monolophosaurus or whatever it is. Is the cerato sharing spawns with the Allo or Carno now? Since it’s on carno on island I imagine it’s mixed in with carno….or did they just add to the existing spawn, instead of substituting it out with existing Dino’s
I'm going to assume it shares Allo and maybe some Carno spawns on the Island and On Scorched i'm going with the Carno...All I know is that they kill anything and everything which is super annoying, so there's barely any other creatures around where they spawn onto the map, they even aggro to every carnivore it seems including Rexes and Yuties etc, I hope it gets changed at some point!
@@BEYPlaysGames Thanks for the feedback my man. I'm pretty pumped for the Cerato to be a part of the base game but totally can see how it could be annoying due to the aggro and being a bit overpowered to begin with. Hopefully they can find a way to balance it out
Bro I love your videos so here's a scoop sorta off topic but the recent update kills single player with mods but I discovered the culprit for my game it was ironically Dino discovery world spread the word
All good the mod is called discovery world and when I originally searched it's what came up when I was trying to find the mods teachers game too suggested which he said one was called Dino discovery lol
@@walkingrexy666 Haha, Thanks! Glad you understand why it appears that i'm pronouncing it wrong, I will try to slow my pronunciation down if I ever mention it in a video again😁
Yes it was! It might be more like 2x though because there was an Evo event on at the time! But yeah like dk said above, may have to get it drunk twice. Which is why I recommend bringing more Cocktails than you think you need :D
I'm getting my ps5 within 2 weeks, and this is the first game I'll buy. So I don't have to install the previous ceratosaurus mod right? As it will already be available in the base game right?
You won't need any mods :) So far the Ceratosaurus and Xiphactinus have been released to the base game, the rest of the creatures on the list haven't been released yet, or if you already own any modded versions of any of the creatures on the list you'll still have to keep the mod installed as the vanilla versions count as a totally different species, hope that makes sense :D
@@danisgamingarena4186 No problem! All the ARK Additions mods are available as cross platform, which will include the Acrocanthosaurus...evo Rex and Giga are from the Paleo mod if i'm not mistaken? Those should be cross platform too, they all show up in my mods list when searching on my Xbox!
You'll need to keep it downloaded as of now because the official version and the modded version count as 2 separate species eventhough they look the same :)
You'll keep it if the mod stays installed, they count as 2 separate species of dinos even tough the modded version looks the same as the base game version :)
Garuga said he will work on a conversion option for the Ceratos similar to that of Paleo Ark's TLCs 👍 But yeah for now keep the mod installed my friend
