It's interesting to watch these old commercials and see how much has changed back then comparing to today's cereal commercials. Also the cereals themselves too, and the boxes, and the mascots.
I agree. Those 80's cereal commercials never had eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham; along with milk, orange juice, toast, and cereal. Now that's a balanced breakfast.
I think I remember the Dino Pebbles commercial; it was recorded on a video tape along with, uh...The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, I think. I never got to have any of that cereal. : (
I always wondered what the Crispy Critter's voice sounded like. I first saw him in some books my old school had when I was a kid. I didn't know he was a cereal character.
i still remember the taste of the sugar smacks, i went on a cruise about 5 years ago and they had the little individual boxes of cereal. and guess what i found? sugar smacks

Breakfast Bears sucked. I remember having them and they turned into mush about THREE SECONDS after pouring the milk! That's probably why they didn't last long. I didn;t know they had FROSTED Rice Krispies! I never had them. :( Do they even MAKE Marshmallow Krispies anymore?! Yum, Dino Pebbles. I used to LOVE them. I remember fighting with my brother over the last bowlful!
I sure remember the classic Pebbles cereal commercial when Barney had to sneak to get the cereal in disguise. Also remembered the classic Cookie Crisp ones with the robber stealing the cereal. I sure miss the days of great cereal commercials. Also remembered Ghostbusters, Mr. T, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and the Monster cereals Frankenberry, Boo Berry and Count Chocula.
You know cereals aren’t as fun as they used to. Though the unicorns for the Lucky Charms sorta helps. But still not as many modern cartoon characters these days have their own sugary cereals.
no wonder we're all F***** up! I must have seen thousands of cereal commercials when I was watching "harmless cartoons." Learning to deprogram myself from all the food commercials deeply embedded in my brain!
