Such a beautiful ceremony, may the players, coaches, and associates of Lokomotiv Yaroslavi continue their love of hockey in heaven. Thanks for this video from USA.
@@jakublajcha2775 a píše niekde, že to nie je Slovák?... Slovák, či Čech je to jedno boli sme jeden národ a pre nás starších to bude stále tak... Český brat to napísal pekne... Nech naši 4 ria chlapci odpočívajú v pokoji... a samozrejme aj všetci ostatní, ktorí prišli o život
I'm not a hockey fan, but this was one of the most touching and moving ceremonies I had ever seen in my life for the dead in sports. I felt tears in my eyes and I could feel the sincerity in the stadium. Nobody was yelling or booing. Everyone was in respect. This is what sportsmanship is supposed to be like. Respect for each other as human beings.
I never was really into hockey, but couldn't help up tear up a bit. Bless all the friends, family and dedicated fans of all of those hockey players and that all goes well during this difficult time R.I.P. :( from San Francisco, California
This is the saddest thing I've ever seen. And to think last week I was watching a Bobby Charlton documentary talking about the Munich air disaster. He looked the saddest person in the world. Imagine how their families feel. RIP from all Man Utd fans.
This is the most beautiful sports tribute I have ever witnessed. I will admit that I cried when the other team put a puck for each player into their own net. RIP, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl players and coaches. From a Blackhawks fan in the NHL, nothing but love and respect goes out to all of you. We are all one hockey family and we must all stick together in times of tragedy. Humanity transcends the rivalries that any sports sweater represents. My love goes out to your families and friends.
Sending my condolences from Arizona USA. It's been 12 years since the tragedy. They're gone, but not forgotten always remember the memories of the team.
I don't see how 14 people (or one person, 14 times) could dislike this. This is the most beautiful tribute ever, that I have ever seen in a long time. RIP to all that were on the Yak-42. We can only hope and pray that the other 2, Alexander Sizov, the crew member and Alexander Galimov, make it.
REST IN PEACE from Louisiana, USA ..sad.. very very sad. thoughts and prayers go out to their families friends and the fans from around this beautiful world of ours.
@DSTANSE That was Dynamo Minsk, the team that was supposed to play against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Instead they got to hold this memorial ceremony. Heartbreaking!
I imagine the pain that family members and fans are feeling in these moments, here in Brazil this sport is nothing not to comment and pass on the news must be to imagine how the families have to watch on TV all the time: (
man this sucks so much. my condolences to everyone who was friends/family with those involved. Hockey is an amazing sport, and to lose people who excel at the game is truly a sad day. RIP
In my youth i can remember such a tragedy happened to an english soccer team. At the last hockey games here in my country 2 days ago all teams remembered the Lokomotiv players for a still minute. We care here in Europe, so R.I.P.
This is sooo sad. My heart goes out to the families of this young, promising men. May God give them the strenght to deal with their heartbreak. My prayers are with all of them. :(
I don't see how there can be any dislikes on this video. Who can dislike something showing the memorial of people that have died? Rest in Peace and I hope their families are okay.
@jdelgado360 last week 21 people were in a plane that crashed in the sea, they were traveling to an island that was almost completely destroyed by a tsunami to help in the rebuilding process. Most of these people were public tv personalities and very beloved across our country.
May all our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of those we lost. This is a senseless tragedy for the hockey community. Peace. Love. Hockey.
It is sad to see young, talented lives like this wasted. May their souls find peace and eternal rest. Russians have put us Poles through some hard times, but we can never forget that we have very similar origins, and not just that, but we are all human beings. RIP
@LetReasonReign Your exactly right. Im a New York Islanders fan and they play poorly sometimes but if this was to happen to them and they didnt rebuild it i would feel like we are dishonoring them because where not playing the game they loved to play. So i think the best way to honor these players is to play the game
@bOrInkKo Actually only 2 people survived. One was the Goaltending coach who was not on the flight. The other person was a player who was a winger and has Burns on 90's of his body and now is in a coma in a hospital.
Watching this restored my faith in humanity a little bit. Reading some of these trolling comments took that feeling away instantly. Anyway great vid; very moving.
