I've been suffering for 15 years, every doctor has always brainwashed me into thinking I have migraines. I've tried every migraine treatment there is and they do absolutely nothing. Watching this video I have never felt more hopeful. This sounds so much like what I have. All the issues with my neck, and other random symptoms actually make sense with this. I am praying I can find someone locally that can evaluate me for this.

Day two of doing them regularly and I'm totally pain free, I still have to work on my posture as I believe this is the cause. I hope it helps as no human should suffer the pain these things cause.

Hello Hiwatha, I'm glad you found some validity in ytour symptoms from the video. The brainstem is part of just about every process in your body, to some extent. Migraines can cause all sorts of unusual symptoms, and some are not well documented. Therefore many patients get told by medical practitioners that they are simply imagining their symptoms, when the sufferer themselves know it to be there. Have you had your brainstem assessed for central sensitisation? It could be life changing for you to undergo treatment for cervicogenic headaches.

God revealed to me that I have been sleeping with the pillow on my neck all of my life. I woke up everyday with a sore throat only on the right side. My head would hurt from the top right side, down my head behind my ear and down to my neck. The pain feels as if you have a crook in your neck. In the morning my neck would be so stiff that I could barely lift and turn my head. Just think, all the times going to the doctor and they didn't see anything in my ear from the ear pain. They didn't see any tumors on the brain from cat scans. It was all from the way that I was sleeping. These last four months since changing the way that I sleep, most of the pain is almost gone. If I experience any stiffness, I rub my neck with Bengal. It has help to the point that my ear pain is gone and I don't hear all of that crackling in my head anymore.

@cornellsanders95
@cornellsanders95 Год назад
@@tushar18 there is hope for it to get better . The first thing that I did was I stopped sleeping on my right side where I was experiencing the pain and started sleeping on my left side. That way the right side could start healing. I put a pillow against my back, one across my stomach and one for my head. I was position laying on my back yet still on my side. Can you picture that? I'm on my back yet I'm still on my side. The pillow against my back on the right side and the pillow across my stomach. It's very comfortable. You might have to change your bed. Beds are killers. People suffer from sicknesses and the doctors would gladly give you medicine and it could be something so simple that's wrong. You don't have to give up on your healing, you can make it through this, I did, but I know how you feel. I thought that I wasn't ever going to be healed. Like myself, if they couldn't find anything wrong from the x-rays and CT scan, then I knew it had to be physical, something I was doing. Oh yeah they took scans of my spine also. So I didn't have a brain tumor, I didn't have an ear infection or vertigo, I didn't have anything wrong with my spine, then what the hell was wrong? I discovered it was the way I was sleeping. It's been 2 months now and this morning I felt better than I have felt in a long time. You will get there too, just don't give up.

Hi Mags, thanks very much for your question. The brainstem is part of everyone's nervous system and sits around the first 3 vertebrae in your neck. It sends signals up in to your head and down into your body. A hands-on assessment of your neck is is the best way to assess the brainstem. This is something a Watson's Headache Practitioner would be able to help you with. If you google "Watson's Headache Practitioners in UK" you may be able to find some close to your city. Do you think I have damaged my neck muscles or a nerve?? I can move my neck absolutely fine with no pain buy it make me dizzy. Thanks

Hi Mikey, thank you for your question. Head injuries such as this, even if mild, can causes changes in the neck which can begin referring pain into the head. I recommend discussing this further with your GP to determine whether your headaches could be cervicogenic. @brisbaneheadacheandmigrain3863
@brisbaneheadacheandmigrain3863 3 года назад
Hi Mmama Llama, I apologise for the late response. It really is dependent on the condition, everybody's brain stem sensitivity is slightly different, but the main principles of practice are correcting the pressure inside the C2/3 IV disc to be more symmetric and to mobilise the affected segments in a particular way to reproduce the headache, then have it desensitise as the mobilisation continues. Normally for cervicogenic headaches, this occurs at the C0/1 segment. And this is only touching the surface! Feel free to contact us if you have more questions or would like to have a consultation :)

@@3000ryuI used to think that chiropractors helped people. I now reccomend that no one should ever go to a chiropractor for any reason. Ive heard many other horrible stories. I went to the chiropractor, "dr," once to check out an old knee injury(i shouldve went to a real doctor, physical therapist, or personal trainer) and then he convinces me to see him multiple times a week for a month. A few weeks in and i start getting headaches(evey session he charges me 50 dollars and puts me on a tens machine then "checks out everything" else) He'd usually just pop my neck and back really quickly and carelessly after id been on the tens machine for 10 or 15 minutes. He would have me out the door in well less than half an hour every time. He never diagnosed me with anything and when i told him i got headaches and my neck hurt he said it was because of "dehydration" after looking at my neck for 1 second. Needless to say, after some reasearch and personal experience, im not a fan of chiropractors; they shouldn't even be considered as a doctor. Any highschool gym coach is more of a doctor and more helpful than the majority of chiropractors

Looking for advice. Is it possible to have symptoms of Cervicogenic headache in regards to the pain radiating over from back of neck and into my eye area all on one side, but without any major stiffness or pain around the spine at all? I get almost crippling headache pain at times, but the only stiffness I get is in back muscles on my right side, just below the shoulder blade, and an overall stiffness and lack of mobility in my shoulder movement on that side. And a history of Subacromial bursitis on same side (treatment was pump me with cortisone and send me on my way). Headaches get worse when i've been using those muscles/areas more. I'm a gardener, so activities like digging and hedge trimming (swinging 5kg petrol trimmer around for 8 hours) makes these areas more stiff on the right side, followed by the intense headaches on that same side. Doctors never seem interested for some reason. Headaches are occationally crippling, a sharp pain on right side of head, starting sort of behind my ear, between ear and spine, then over the top and into eye area. Its such an effort to try to get doctors to show interest or run any sort of scans or test so i'm just asking here if youve any other ideas, before I go find another dcotor and start making demands. Am I being soft? Is this maybe just tension headache?

Thanks for your question. It's unlikely to die from cervicogenic headaches that are caused by a neck-related issue. If you're still feeling quite concerned, I recommend discussing your symptoms with your GP and they can determine what can be done to investigate further and/or relieve your pain. I hope this helps- please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

I live in the US, how do you examine the brain stem? Mri? What is the treatment that you provide. Obviously can't travel.to Australia. Please help. 🙏 Would a NUCCA chiropractor or trigger point therapy work?

Hi Nancy, thanks very much for your question. A hands-on assessment of your neck is is the best way to assess the brainstem. This is something a Watson's Headache Practitioner would be able to help you with. If you google "Watson's Headache Practitioners in US" you may be able to find some close to your city or state. I hope this helps, please feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions!
