@@TheShinobiWorldYTtrue, the 14 gen is basically a rebrand in terms of performance(3-4%,all in margin of error). Personally I would only go for amd. Last gen is available with 4090 at Great discount.
Pretty solid computers from Lenovo again. I do not particularly enjoy the proprietary connectors, but that top of screen connector also had the function of keeping those devices in good position.
Based on the fact that the Lenovo Legion 7i does not have an RJ45 network port and the Lenovo Legion pro 7i does, I would choose the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. A fixed network connection is and remains more stable than WIFI. Since I only use the laptop at home, I always prefer laptops with an RJ45 network port. Why don't I get a desktop PC? Simply because I don't want such a large computer in the living room and I have a mobile laptop table on which I cannot place a separate monitor + keyboard, the risk of the monitor falling over is very high.
The EGPU because mobile graphics cards just not quite enough for high end gaming on an external monitor they work great on the laptop itself if you get into higher tiers 4080 4090 but the mobile versions are just not the same as the actual desktop graphics cards they have come along with you though
