Cesar betrayed Smoke and Ryder not CJ and Grove Street Families

Cesar saw the Green Sabre before CJ did because he knew He knew because his gang know Vagos and Vagos know Ballas so he can know information about the ballas , Cesar is the leader of his gang anyway After Carl in SanFierro , Cesar been looking for Smoke and Ryder His cousin may be a guy know Vagos and know Ballas information Cesar helped CJ a lot and never using him Cesar is a good mexican guy !

Cesar got that information from Hernandez. That's why Tenpenny killed him in Ghost town mission.. And said ".....you sold us out!" ..

There's one man that busts this theory. Hernandez! He was killed by Tenpenny and Pulaski for snitching. But to who? It is very possible that Hernandez informed a member of the Aztecas or even Cesar himself knowing their relationship to the GSF of when and where Ryder, Smoke and Tempenny will meet up and even about the green Sabre.

Add this, Big Smoke's missions "Og Loc" "Running Dog" and "Wrong Side of Tracks" is about killing Vago Members, the main enemy of Aztecaz.

I think Cesar was once working with Smoke and Ryder, but once he got involved with Sweet's and Carl's sister, he knew she wouldn't be supportive of supporting the ballas and going against Sweet's policies, so he chose to betray them two and help Sweet and Carl in a effort to keep his girlfriend.

Cesar probably knows about the green sabre because of kendl. The info is probably the word on the street and a friend of cesar or family knows this and gave a tip or info to cesar. But still, something fishy.

Well if he's a Betrayer, i dont think he Betrayed CJ/Groove Street, but actually Big Smoke's Organisation. So heres my theory: When the Organization was formed, Big Smoke wanted to have a member for every organization around. He already got the help from Ballas, might be whit selling out Sweet and CJ's Mom or something like that. And then CJ Helped him to get support from Vagos and the Russians during the missions. But before these events and might even before than that, Big Smoke convinced Caesar(Aztecas) to join him. (Or maybe they were co-founders) But after then, when Groove street whit the help of CJ were able to get back on thier feet, Smoke and Caesar got into a fight. Maybe Caesar wanted more money, or didnt liked the way Smoke went, or maybe Smoke wanted him to use Kendl to weaken Groove Str. somehow, Caesar decided to betray Smoke and told CJ stuff about the Organization to make it fall or at least get Smoke out of the picture. And so the reason of why Tempenny took the Green Sabre could be coz Smoke asked him to get rid of it immediately before Caesar be able to show it to anyone. If we follow this line, maybe the reason why Caesar get that Race to us in the country was to get contact to Wu-Zi-Mu who had the manpower and connections to help break the organization if San Fierro. And he knew CJ could win that race coz of the Low-rider race in Los Santos.

Dude, he just waited there, saw the ballas putting the sabre in the garage, then the others came. Also "just in time" amd "i heard a rumor" is a typical cliche in games. They were just so lazy to make it realistic.

I will tell you story of Green Sabre mission Hernandez went to Cesar's house and told Cesar to come with him. Then they went to Jefferson Motel and saw there were lots of police . Cesar:Why is there so many police? Hernandez: There was a big fight between Grove Street and LSPD. I joined the police to reduce gang violence in Los Santos. But Tenpenny and Pulaski is in the side of Ballas. Then they saw Tenpenny and Pulaski were going . Hernandez: Follow them! Then Cesar followed them. Tenpenny and Pulaski went in front of Smoke's house. Then Smoke went out of the house and went inside the police car. Cesar and Hernandez followed them . Then the police car came in front of the garage where green sabre was. there were lot's of Ballas . Tenpenny ,Pulaski and Smoke came out of the car .The green sabre was there . Ballas: We should prepare for the fight with Grove Street tomorrow. Hernandez and Cesar was in the car. Cesar:Is that the green sabre in which it was involved in CJ's mother's murder. Hernandez: Yes but Smoke,Tenpenny and Ballas were involved in this too. Cesar: I gotta tell to CJ the green sabre is here. Crazy how GTA myth vids are still being created to this day! I remember 10 years ago when channels such as cfox306 and DarthDementous really got this movement going. Won't suprise me if these vids keep up for another decade lol.

This theory makes no sense. If Cezer wanted CJ/Sweet dead, he had plenty of chances. Why not finish off CJ during "The Green Saber" when he enters tbe undercover car. Why not stop him when he goes to defend Sweet. Also the end scene, relising every other plan failed why wouldn't he kill Sweet, and CJ during the "End of The Line" final cut scene. Why rat out Ryder, Jizzy, T Bone, and Mike. Why rat on the money and the drug runners. Plus what did Cezer get from the deal? Nothing.

Yeah i was also confused when Cesar knew about almost everything that was going to happen.

Just one thing to say, while playing SA I discovered this, there was news on WCTR on radio about big smoke, he had built an orphanage in Los Santos, a news interview was taken of him.

While this is a nice theory and was fun to read about, I think this is, at the very best, unlikely. First off, remember that Cesar and Kendl are in a relationship. Cesar would have heard a lot of stories about the Johnson family via Kendl herself. It's likely that Cesar was well aware of what occurred that lead to CJ returning to Los Santos. So, Cesar was aware of the Green Sabre, and, perhaps, may have been aware about the... suspicious circumstances of that night. Next, we have to remember that in the game's story line, the Aztecas and the Families are working together against the Ballas/Vagos/CRASH/Loco Syndicate/Every Villain Is Lemons (fuck it, I'm gonna call them Every Villain is Lemons for the sake of it). With CJ becoming close with Cesar and Sweet starting to cool his attitude towards him as well, naturally, the two gangs would have worked together to carry operations, which would have meant that Cesar would have had access to not only his scouts (which would have been well organized due to the Aztecas' rather small size), but Families scouts as well, who were more closely operating the Ballas and Vagos mutual ties to CRASH (and Every Villain Is Lemons). Those Families scouts would have picked up on Big Smoke being a traitor, and they would have alerted the Aztecas (the Aztecas were at war with the Ballas, who were also now aligning with the Vagos). Cesar then would have likely investigated this himself knowing the implications, and would have alerted CJ (Sweet just being at a bad place, bad time). It's perfectly logical for Cesar to have known this, and alerted Carl. In addition, keep in mind the Families/Aztecas alliance. With the Families/Aztecas essentially being crushed by the Ballas/Vagos after the Johnsons are exiled, there would have remained members that were fighting against Every Villain Is Lemons, and would have kept in contact with Cesar and CJ. However, remember Sweet is in jail and CJ is being very closely monitored by CRASH. It would have been perfectly logical for the Families scouts to tell Cesar first and then he would go to CJ. Cesar was essentially getting information from both gangs and was keeping CJ in touch. I suspect that this wasn't properly explained in the game, so it's something of a plot hole. But wait, is Big Smoke an Azteca? Probably not. It's possible he was indirectly working with them (perhaps via Cesar and his higher ranking members), since Big Smoke's missions harm the Vagos, but he may have been doing that to keep them at bay. Cesar was pretty opposed to cocaine as well so I doubt he would have been a leader of Every Villain Is Lemons (which, if you're counting, consists of the Ballas, Vagos, Russian Mafia, CRASH, Rifa, Jizzy B and T Bone, and even segments of the fucking feds and Liberty City mobs).

These vids keep getting better and better. Sick editing. Also,it's never explained how Cesar even knew about Smoke and Ryder and Tenpenny's big plan. From CJ's/player's perspective it looks like Ryder and Smoke sold out. Tenpenny might have planned to deal with the Ballas so Sweet can unite the Families,and then Smoke and Tenpenny would try to kill Sweet,Ryder and CJ. As someone said on their Ryder analysis:Ryder acts like he was forced to join them. Also,Ryder was highly supportive of Sweet's plans like CJ. He said this during the Cleaning the Hood mission:"Man,fuck Smoke. I don't believe a word he says." Also,Cesar apparently "has people that know every move that Smoke or Ryder do". Smoke's betrayal was hinted in metaphores he was saying during his missions and during Sweet's missions. "Same things that make us laugh,make us cry." A clear reference to Ballas. Reasons: Gang members can sometimes laugh at rival gang members's action or clothing. "Make us cry." Meaning,Balla gang members make them laugh,they also make them cry. Referencing the death of one and only Leonora Johnson. If you watched the Introduction video you can see 2 Balla gang members in the Green Sabre.(Same things that make us laugh) And after Sweet and Kendl see that their mother is dead,Kendl starts crying.(Make us cry.) Ryder was in best relations with CJ since their childhood. It's said in Robbing Uncle Sam. But Ryder hated CJ beacuse he left after Brian(his other brother) was killed. That's the reason why he calls him a Busta.

Damn man, if you have a discord server, i wouldn't talk in here so long lol. One possible theory, that Cesar could've been one of the bosses. He knows the exact time, place, and what is the thing inside the garage. However, your theory is still weak. If he was one of the bosses, and he want CJ to do the dirty thing, why does he want to eliminate all of his friends? Selfish? I dont think so. For example: T-Bone. He was one of the bosses that works with Ballas led by Big Smoke. Why didn't he recognize Cesar when Cesar and CJ shot him at Pier 69? He could shout to CJ that Cesar was one of the bosses and could say a hint like "You betrayer" or something like that. But why didn't Rockstar add that? Another possible hint is that you noticed when Cesar said his cousin, he didn't say she, but instead "he". So it means Cesar has another cousin besides Catalina. We don't know the exact who is he and what does he do, but he might be a professional spy. Remember, Cesar also stated a rumor which means he could also get the rumor from conversation of some Ballas at their 'hood. Varrios and Ballas' hood are very close, so it might be possible that he heard it from Ballas. Also, after the event of Crack Palace or before it, Aztecas and Ballas are stil an enemy. Why do Varrios recognize Ballas as their enemy? Does it make sense to you that their leader is in one organization alongside their enemy's leader but they are still fighting each other? Big Smoke could also call Cesar for help him to defend Crack Palace, but still, there are no Aztecas there. If you said, Big Smoke was one of the Aztecas because his car's colour, you can apply it to Sweet too. His license plate may say GROVE4L, but how about the colour? Does it look like green to you? Of course not. It is blue. You can also state that Sweet was one of the Aztecas if we use your theory. Does this mean i'm not supporting your theory? No. Cesar could be an enemy. Could be a betrayer. Could be anything. Perhaps you need to find another hint to support your theory. It is still weak. Myth Rating: UNLIKELY - Lack of supportive hints - Some based on opinions

He probably heard the rumors that Big Smoke and Ryder were going to the garage at the time you came in the car. And that the 3rd rumor was that the Green Sabre was in the garage so he decided to peek in the garage.

I believe that Caesar once worked for them but left after he fell in love with Kindel and CRASH took out the Aztec as for that reason.Notice how most of Smokes missions he hunts Vagos but near the end they protect him.He might have attacked them for the Aztecas but after the betrayal he helped the Vagos wipe them out.

Actually, Varrios Los Aztecas was a antagonistic gang turned to a protagonistic gang, so after the Los Desperados mission, The Varrios Los Aztecas are now friendly (after the mission "Los Desperados")

My theory is.. maybe cesar actually knows about the mission "Green Sabre". Maybe he was paid by Smoke or Ryder to make CJ go to Cesar so the Ballas can ambush Sweet without CJ helping them in the parking lot downtown.. Just a fact but it makes sense...

Maybe his cousin Was officer Hernandez. Remember in the mission 'High Noon' Tenpenny Killed Hernandez Because he Betrayed them. So Basically Hernandez Gave the info to ceaser to pass it to CJ. Maybe Hernandez Realised he was on the WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS and Wanted to fixed it,, That's my theory

I think as a leader of a gang in LS he was probably onto what was happening between the gangs, and in this position he uses his man and his connections. Just like Tempenny knew about the deal in the mission gray imports he uses his connections.

Also remember that big smoke car got destroyed in the first mission

It would make sense if Tenpenny,Cesar and Big Smoke are the leaders. Look at that: Having an alliance with the police would be good. They wouldn't mind when you sell or make drugs. So tenpenny is the key here. He is a policeman. But there is Cesar (from astec) AND Big Smoke (let's assume that he is mostly bound with ballas). Killing Big Smoke would make astec richest and most powerfull gang. So Cesar would want to kill Big Smoke. But he knew Tenpenny would probably back off the deal in that place becouse he would be afraid that Cesar would kill him too. So he NEEDED somone to do it. He knew that CJ would be all on it. But he needed evidence that Big Smoke is a traitor. So he showed CJ,a grenn sabre. The only thing he didn't knew would happen is Tenpenny's death. So it all connects. He wanted his gang to be most powerfull. He wanted alliance with the police so they wouldn't mind if he make/sell drugs. The only thing he needed was death of Big Smoke so he could take 2/3 or 50% of the cash. Not 1/3. The only thing i can't add is Big Smoke's car that is most likely an astec car. IDK. Why is he light blue. What do you think?

Cesar by telling"Just in time" meant "Hey CJ you came right in time" , also meaning he came fast. He probably have watched them get in with the Green Sabre and that's how he knows. (Remember he spied on them but got lost in San Fierro and you go pick him up)

Do you think big smoke or ryder were trying to get with kendl and cesar ratted them out to remove them? I think kendl played her part in the neighbourhood getting ruined. Also if you watch the cutscene in the graveyard sweet mention someone, brian's death, and kendl gets upset and tries to leave the scene asap.

I remembered this myth when i watched this again. But who told cesar and how did he know everything. And why were there no missions given by ryder neither big smoke after the *THE GREEN SABRE* mission Maybe its because Cesar joined Tenpenny and ryder - big smoke in secret. But its obvious that its unreal I found a clue from the comments bY -SKANKERMAN STUDIOS- *skankerman studios* Hernandez and CESAR are teamed up. That is why they killed hernandez

Remember the Mission "Running Dog" where smoke is attacking a Vagos member and one is Running away.

Maybe Big Smoke buys a glendale from an Aztecas and Forgot to remove the license plate

Light blue is the colour of epsilon program in the game. Epsilon program also mentions a red truck which could be reference to Cesar's red car. You can see a triangle with an eye in it at 13:02 which is similar to illuminati's logo which shows cesar might be a part of epsilon program.

Blue is not actually Smoke's car color, it's just a error on game colors. If you fix that, it's becomes a different color.

7:33 You can be right about that. It makes sense. He maybe worked with them as you're thinking, but what if Ceaser got kicked out of this Organization business and plans? Maybe that's why he knows everything. They used him to do something and later though Ceaser is useless and kicked him out or something. Maybe they made him join because they would give him and his gang Aztecas money, territory and that stuff. He knew all of their plans - What, When, How and Why, because he maybe was there anyways! And after he was kicked he probably went spying on them and their new plans and that stuff to revenge for what they've. He couldn't do it alone, so that's why he called CJ to help him do this thing. A little evidence in 10:05 when Ceaser said "This business is bigger than any gang, ese". That makes the Chances for him being there bigger. There is like another evidence about him or his gang being there. There can be something about thr Aztecas in the beta version too. For example: In the Final mission, in the Bridge, Aztecas are throwing Molotovs at CJ and Sweet. Maybe in the Beta, Ceaser and his gang got corrupted or forced by C.R.A.S.H to join and that's why they joined and still are in the Organization. Just like Ryder with Big Smoke. He was in the Organization and Forced Ryder to join it (You can see in The Introduction, Smoke said in a "Poem way" that he or C.R.A.S H can kill Ryder if he rejects to join). After he joined it maybe he was corrupted too with money or power like Big Smoke. Because if Ryder rejected, he could be dead and the storyline was going to be different. You know that in the beta version, there are cut calls, conversations and missions. Maybe in the beta, it was a different storyline or the same, but some of it was cut, but we only Rockstar and the other developers know why they decided to do that stuff. *Think about it.*

I think the car thing was him "poking around" before hand, maybe he seen them pull the car in. Through the relationship Kendl, Cesar would have known about the Green Sabre. And also, it is several missions canonically in between the last one we did involving Cesar, and then. So time-frame wise, gives Cesar time to maybe dig around. But, my question is... maybe he found out by Big Smoke wanting to join the Aztecas, he knows of the Big 5 Members of GSF through Kendl, so he would've known something is up. That might be why we see Smoke with a Aztecas car after the Ballas blew up his car, feeling spiteful of GSF and Ballas, and since we know Vagos is on the other end of town, Smoke logically would've went to Aztecas to join their ranks. Plus, Cesar is smarter than he leads on, being aware of his own physical limitations like the semi-truck jump, and his tactical plan to regain his neighborhood from the Vagos. So he would've noticed that Big Smoke, is living in a Ballas neighborhood, wanting to rep Aztecas, being a backstabber to GSF, all of these upon looking at that is a Red Flag for a leader like Cesar, especially since he himself is in a relationship with Sweet's sister. So, that could be why he brought him in as a low-ranking Azteca, behind Kendl's back. Keep in mind, too, We know Big Smoke has this car BEFORE Cesar met CJ. So, maybe, without known of a more direct line with CJ to get the blessing for Kendl from Sweet (Since we know Cesar has thoughts of purposing to her, but was worried about Sweet's view on him.) His plan was to actually get Smoke to kill Sweet, that way he could marry her since technically, they wouldn't have needed blessing unless via phone from CJ. But after meeting CJ, he sweeped Smoke under the rug, and that's why Smoke made his own drug empire to take down both VLA and GSF. Worried on retaliation from Smoke, that's why he started to keep tabs on Smoke, and that's when he saw the Green Sabre and the location.
