The airplane itself is great, but I'm really impressed with the quantity, quality and organization of the records....Wow! When I bought my Bonanza, I wish I'd received such pristine documentation, rather than the disorganized pile that came in a cardboard box. It took me several days to put it in some semblance of order during the pre-purchase and several more weeks after the sale, to bring it all up to even close to the condition of what was being displayed inside that aircraft when you first arrived. Thanks for the video!
Never ceases to amaze me how sterile some people keep their hangar. Not a case of oil, tool box or old couch in sight. Of course my hangar is my man cave where I go to hang out plus I’m a A&P/IA and do my own maintenance so it’s plum full. It does my heart good to see an Airline guy who likes to fly tail dragers. I’ve met some who consider flying for the airlines just another job and turn the auto pilot on as soon as they can and would auto land if they could.
Fun. Hard to beat beautiful weather over beautiful places... in a beautiful airplane. Yet another wonderful life memory to archive. Might consider making a video about your "big iron" flying. That's a big part of your flying life for sure.
F14 is a gawd awful hanger number! F16 isn’t terrible…. Can tell they loved their plane, they even laid out the books nicely in the back. She’s a beaut Clark! If you are ever in Mesa again, would love to trade Tyndall stories!
Gorgeous 170. The hangar numbers reminded me of a recent trip to Hawaii from Seattle. Must have been a retired Navy pilot. He planted that 737 with, , authority! On the way home from Seattle to Anchorage (we had to take a bus from the terminal to the 737) and you were our captain. Greased her in at ANC. Not sure if you or the FO were at the controls, but well done sir. Fly Air Force! :D
Sweet bird. Nice to see another flying vid. I noticed you start out with the DCs and switch to LightSpeeds later on. I have always been a DC fan and love my new One-Xs. Any reason for the switch?
I had my DC's because I just came out of the 737 and a work trip. I like them in the jet. They ware woefully inadequate in a piston airplane. My daughter has a set of DC One-X's that are ok in piston planes. I find the Zulu's give me the best fit, sound and quality for me in piston planes.
Hi Jughead recently moved from Arlington WA, to Great Falls (GTF). If you ever have a stay over and want a home cooked meal and Pendleton just give me a ring. Welcome anytime. Watch Pheasants at my bird feeder, beautiful view overlooking the Missouri. A Just Aircraft Highlander in the shop. Cheers.
@@Jugheadf15 I did not know that. I'm kind of out of the loop since we moved to the Adirondacks. I do get a note from Sticky once in a while. I've been following your videos, but didn't know that you were with Alaska.
I don’t know if I could walk around with the shirts and hats captains wear. I would think people would be looking for the circus in town. Kind of like gross tattoos
