At NBAA 2016 in Orlando, Cessna showed off for the first time the cabin mock up of the large cabin Citation Hemisphere. In this AVweb news video, Cessna's Christi Tannahill gave us a detailed tour of the airplane's interior.
I used to fly CE-560XL/XLS’s back in my corporate jet days. I thought the XL/XLS was very well done for its size and class. What a big trunk! Anyway, one of my friends does interior finishing on yachts; he’s very well known for his work. He likes internally illuminating granite slabs with LED’s in the yachts that he finishes. The shade of the granite coupled with color temperature of the LED’s can completely change the flavor of the space that the granite is in. Since CE is doing granite now, why not do something similar?
Some women and men, get stuck in dressing and looking like they did in high school and never change. In 1980's, that black under eye make-up was popular in some parts of the USA.
Isn't counterproductive to put granite (which is heavy) on an aircraft, specially a smaller one? I thought the goal in aviation design was to always strive for lighter materials.
There's a lot of talking but no demonstration. Did not show us the seats converted into beds. Did not show us the divan converting into a full sized bed. Did not show us the blackout curtains. Why not just show it instead of rambling on about design perspectives.
They mostly showed her, wearing too much mascara too. It's supposed to be a plane video, not a woman video. I know what women look like. I don't know what multimillion dollar jets look like. Next time, turn the camera 180º.
Great-looking airplane!! But next video, I hope they break it up into clips so the narrator can relax more. She seemed a bit nervous. And i'd also like to see more of the actual airplane, less of her (not that she is bad-looking at all, but I can't fly in her).
They boasted that it could fly these routes so I guess you can use a point-to-point calculation website to find out: New York City-Moscow San Francisco-Tokyo Dubai-Johannesburg
Only just make it, and bearing in mind it would be flying into a possible head wind. Durban on the Natal Coast would be a better option, or a stop in Mauritous would be a safer option.
Yea , who are you selling the jet or her, get out of her face, next time back up, try using 50mm or less lens with wide angle, if you didn't know now you know, p.s fire who ever edited the video and didn't notice.
Mainly what she talks about is "design" of the interior and not THE interior. I stopped the video a little over half-way through because of that reason and because I got tired of looking at her and not the interior. Everyone who is looking to buy a plane like this already knows you can have them built to order.

? Engineered bamboo flooring is great in a kitchen or anywhere really. It is a sealed waterproof surface and very durable. That Granite floor & Counter provide no material benefit and have a huge weight penalty.
I'm not sure sure about the significant weight penalty. It doesn't need to be very thick, it can be super thin, so long as it's backed onto something rigid.
She inflects every sentence! It's hard to listen to her. Inflection with a question not a statement; not everything you say needs to be inflected like a question!
How many times are you going to say "Ahhh"? Your voice is cracking! Are you nervous? Also, the camera FOV needs to be wider and the camera shaking! Terrible lighting too the colors are all washed out. Next time, get a professional team and spokesperson. I cannot believe Cessna would approve a video like this.
It's seems like amazing plane, but horrible presentation. She didn't say anything about the performance of the plane, and also seems she didn't practice her presentation. I wouldn't hire her to present any of my products...
This was probably the only channel to ask to do a video and was probably caught off guard. It’s not easy talking to a camera and after answering questions all day at a show fatigue might be a big factor too. Cessnas website has lots of info pictures and floor plans for you to look at, seeing how you are on the internet already.
TERRIBLE VIDEO she stutters first of all. Secondly the video is supposed to be about the interior of the airplane not close ups on her awful job of makeup. I'm still wondering about the interior of the airplane. sheesh!
