CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a post-graduate professional certification/qualification/program by an American based-institute for Investment & Finance Professionals.
CFA takes an average of 4 or more years to complete with a requirement for professional work experience. Graduation or a Bachelor's degree is required for CFA Qualification.
CFA Careers:
1. Financial Analyst
2. Investment Analyst
3. Portfolio Manager
4. CFO
5. Finance Manager
6. Valuation Analyst.
CFA Average Salary:
CAD$ 75,000 & US$ 100,000
CFA Charterholder or Part-Qualified CFA can opt admission in MBA & Master of Science (MSc) Finance in top Canadian Universities such as the University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, Ryerson University, the McMaster University University of Waterloo on the basis of your CFA Level 1.
CFA Level 1 exempts international students from GRE/GMAT for admission in Top Canadian Universities.

Hi Shajji, thanks for your video! I only recently cleared L1 on 2nd attempt. Planning to given L2 by end of 23. Am definitely thinking of applying after clearing L2 for MBA in finance in Canada. Only issue is that most universities in Canada don't recognize 3 year bachelor's so am thinking of doing a masters (Mcom) external. Also as of rn, I only have two years of experience working in a chartered accountants firm, but not in finance domain so getting jobs at the moment is very difficult. Should I opt for applying abroad as well as giving GMAT after clearing L2 and ofcourse after getting relevant job in finance domain? Would I qualify for their admissions criteria?

Yar.... you do not know anything about CFA and spreading all the false information. Please find something else to talk about... You have no knowledge about CFA or the jobs or the potential of this exam... Your 80% information is wrong and it tells you do something else for your living , you have nothing to do with CFA.... Which University in Canada exempt for GMAT if you passed level 1 of CFA?? Nooooooo... Salary is not determined based on the level of CFA exams, there is nothing like CFA level 1, it's only CFA when you have passed all three levels ( which is a challenging path) and then apply for charter based on your experience in the relevant industry. If your application is approved, you get the charter...... do not waste people time buddy...FYI , I am working in Financial industry in Canada and I am CFA charter holder.

@@chetnathakur1201 Your husband should look for jobs with title, "Risk Analyst", "Business Analyst", "Investment Analyst", "Financial Analyst", "Data Analyst" etc. i.e., in the Capital markets banking jobs. Creating profile at LinkedIn and posting resume on indeed, simply hired, monster employment portals should be very helpful as he will be getting calls from recruiters if he posts a well-crafted resume on these sites. Resume should be targeted on the skill rather his past designation. Canadian employers want to ensure you are fit for their job and are able to take the workload. If you guys are moving to Toronto in Canada, it's a good place for banking jobs which are pretty decent paying and CFA charter is valued in these jobs. However, keep the expectations reasonable in terms of seniority level of the jobs, your husband might have to start with entry to early career job which is completely fine given you would be in a new country and in new environment. He saying about cfa demand in canda.he was saying after the finish cfa level one than you can get admission in mba in canda.According to his this is a best option for all acca students He recomend the acca they are complete fist 9 papers and get OBU degree from oxford university and come to the base obu in canda for mba.He was also saying cfa high demand in canda and usa.basically cfa is usa qualification according to his.saleries range cfa in usa 150k +dollers per year according to his.
