Youre definitely wrong on saying that that movie was not for the cfers.. I mean this movie is really for you..! wanna know why??Coz this is a key in opening the minds of other persons that doesnt suffer on this kind of decease..this one will make a realizations on the minds of every eyes whom watch that movie.. I Honestly dont know about this decease untill i wathced the movie and it really brokes my heart knowing that this decease is a life and death bond.. Sad to say about that.. 😣
the movie was made for a girl named claire and she had cf and she had a huge part in making it. all the things about cf they got is from claire, who had cf.
It's annoying interrupting all the time and saying "this is not like that" or "not right". You actually are the only one cfer youtuber that reacted like that for this movie. It's sad that you can't acknowledge that this movie is for you. Also it's good for you to know that there was a CF DOCTOR ON THE SET who probably knows some things better than you do. My suggestion for you is just to start being open-minded.
This whole video just made me realize you only base this off your own experiences and not about anybody else and that your only thinking about yourself like saying CFers don’t fall in love so you speak for all of them now like seriously this whole video has just made me not want to subscribe or like but dislike instead
Some people have a hard time swallowing pills let alone multiple.. I know some who brake them in half or mix it with their food to make it easier.. 🙄 And personally I think you're being close minded.. You kept saying "I" and "me" .. the way you Express yourself seems like you expect everyone to experience certain stuff the way you do but it's not that black and white.. I personally knew a cf couple and so on
It’s sad to see them put themselves in so much danger but at the same time we need to remember it’s a movie and it’s all about this amazing love where they are not allowed to be together! That’s like every love story so remember that. You can’t help who you fall in love with and it’s a shame they happened to both have cf...
I just dont like people who are knit picky about a film that is trying to bring awareness to something that hardly anybody even knows exists because it doesn't get any coverage or awareness...should just be thankful that the people cared enough to do a film about it and try to bring awareness too it because knit picking something just makes you seem like a real ass
@Crabby Abby who said anything about silencing anyone... I just said it makes people seem like a real ass when they try to nitpick films.... especially films that are out there trying to broach topics that there aren't very many if any films about....
@Crabby Abby or maybe a person could just be happy that something that is close to them that has NEVER been addressed to the general public or in mainstream media is finally getting addressed and instesd of notching because it isn't a documentary (which 99% of the population wouldn't watch) they turned it into something that people would watch while trying to give an idea of the issues and problems people with the illness face...amd then people who have it could step in the void and fill in the gaps and talk about the illness to help infhelp people even more... she could have used this oppuetunity to inform people even more about tje illness instesd of just batching and whining
They literally have real cfers on set helping and cf nurses of 10 years telling them what to do you are wrong on very many parts. This movie was made for cfers when all you do is judge it they tried so hard making this. the purpose was not to make it look sad, my sister had b cepacia and she personally loved it and she loved the story line its a movie...A lot of it is accurate you just need to stop being negative.
i don’t think you should of been so critical about the trailer, it’s literally such a good movie. the movie is 100% for cfers do you know the amount of research and work and interviewing and talking to other people who have cf just to make this movie, if it wasn’t for the incredible claire wineland this movie wouldn’t of even existed. of course it’s not going to be completely accurate it’s a hollywood movie and hollywood movies have certain and specific standards that they have to live up to no matter what the movie and what it’s about. and no their voices aren’t scratchy? why would they be? these people don’t have cystic fibrosis they’re not going to sound like they do (in fact claire wineland actually taught them how to do a more realistic cough!) and yes both haley lu richardson and cole sprouse had to go on specific diets to (in the words of cole sprouse) show/ imitate how ‘gaunt’ or ‘frail’ a lot of cfers are
i agree with some of the things you said! but i know a few people who have fell in love that had cf, it's easy to fall in love with someone who goes through the same thing as you. i loved the movie. i thought it was amazing. but soooo sad. everyone's cf story is different. & this is raising awareness.
I watched five feet apart n i cried throughout the film bcs i feel the same way ahaha ha it gives a lot of meaning n sadness that so deep 💖 but also cute i love to see it again it is a worth watching film but maybe the feels is different idk but u have known already known the ending ahaha i just saying N also i didnt see this scene when stella n will after being apart they met each other or is it just me?
Good to see you back! If the makers say that this is a film for the CF community, rather than seeing it as being aimed at getting the 70k people with CF to go and see the film, did they not mean that it raises awareness of CF, which might help the CF community? My thoughts are that it must be the latter. Certainly emotive, but hopefully not divisive x
I know it's a little late to comment, but really there are people with CF who fall in love, in fact this book is based on a love story between two people with cystic fibrosis.
I watched the movie and there trying to spread awareness it's not compleatly acurite and now alot more people want to help and donate and it's better then some other movies that have tried to do the same thing in the past and thank you
No hate but also I feel like (I could be completely wrong) the rules and leniency depend slightly on the severity of your condition and where you are/hospital you are at.
@@NakamotoYutaismyhusband very true but they talked to a lot of other people that have cf and they both had a genuine interest in cf and raising proper awareness for cf and it is actually quite accurate! they were even recommended to go on a specific diet to depict how gaunt or frail a lot of cf patients are and were even taught how to do a realistic cf cough
I think something to keep in mind is that this is a movie and typically by its nature is a dramatization. I think it's important to note where the movie is not accurate in its depictions. That being said, the movie should be a dramatization of two CFrs in love. It should provide a solid basis of life with CF. I'm curious to see what inaccuracies you find and if you think it provides a good outline of life with CF
@@claireruane3584 i agree, my friend and my uncle has CF and they said that this movie was pretty accurate. and that if they added in every little bit of what a CFer goes thru then the movie would be boring. like when she said that "their voices aren’t scratchy" i found it interesting that she didn’t think about how some CFers don’t rlly have scratchy voices. and when she said that "theyre trying to make their life look sad" i like 100% sure that this movie was for awareness, so they made it a love story so people would come into the theatres are watch it so they know what CF is about.
@@peetasolos exactlyyy the movie was to help bring awareness and that what it did and it did it well. exactly if they didn’t add the hollywood dramatization i don’t think people would be as inclined to watch it lol like it’s a hollywood movie it’s naturally not going to be 100% perfectly accurate- i don’t think any movie is. the director wanted it to be more realistic even though that wasn’t recommended because he wanted to show what a cfer actually experiences
I wonder why some CF patients react so positively about the movie and how it shows CF patients at some points and some CF patients just critizise it because its not 100% accurately showing alle the processes and rules for CF patients literally, some CF patients feel honored and happy about it and others feel so freaking upset because its just not accurate and not 100% dedicated to them 🙄🤔 i dont get it Im NOT a CF patient, I ve never been I ve respect for every CF patient keeping being strong everyday and being hopeful I love this movie Idk whats coming when you have CF but the movie director and cast worked together with a CF patient and tried to make it as close and accurate as possible to illustrate a love story including CF whatsoever idk
You're right. The true life of CFer is not glamorous, cute and romantic. It's about struggling with your lungs and being healthy. I don't have CF, but I have severe asthma that has been unpredictable but even with all my struggles, seeing your struggles made me feel guilty that I could even be mad and resentful about my struggles. Thank you for putting yourself out there.
@@joshuaknight311 how would you know unless you live with her. I don't always look like I have asthma unless I'm really sick. I saw another video of her demonstrating use of a type of breathing apparatus. I heard her coughing uncontrollably and sounded and looked legitimate to me.
Jesus is coming back. Please repent of your sins and turn to Him. He is our only saving grace. My family is no stranger to tragedy. But thank God for the year you have lived. What a light you are. If you knock on Jesus door he'll answer. :) Pray about everything worry about nothing. God bless you. 💕
The girl that this is based of, Claire, she was on set everyday to make sure that everything was accurate. Of course they had to romanticize it a little bit, this is television, is for entertainment.
I agree with you, this movie was not made for us. why have a romance? why not show both the healthy side and not so healthy side? I made a friend with cf across the country, that’d be a movie our community would relate with. If you really want to get angry about this watch the ad campaign for it. i’m ready to have people tell me i don’t look like i have cf bc i don’t have an oxygen tank.🙄
Or you could just look at it for what it is and that is a group of actors getting together to try and bring awareness to something that not many people even know exist and even less know anything about.... I mean seriously how much coverage and support for CF have you ever seen? Just be thankful that a group of people felt moved enough and felt adamant enough about something to make a film to bring it to everyone else's attention and stop being so negative about it
And if you actually watch the film and pay attention it tells you why they are on oxygen because it states that both of them are on transplant lists and on the back end of CF like it openly states that the girls lungs are at 35% (or somewhere in the 30s)
