Great game bombers! Still not quite there yet! Our record doesn't define this team we have had the worst of worst luck! 1% better each day boys keep on pushing.
@@loopy7776 really hits my summer itch, I have two criticisms: season should start a month early and finish on thanksgiving vs mid November, and league should be 1 division, tired of east v West grey cups, would not mind an all east or all West grey cup finals
@@teo_heel can't argue with the facts, traditions are there, still think it would make it a better product by ending the CFL season closer to the start of NFL and weather-wise. I think the traditions are overdue, it feels like a missed opportunity to limit a best vs best grey cup on a geographic tradition
@@broznar1019 Nah. no fun league should move their starting date to like... never start it ever again. Like who wants to watch that boring so called "league" of overpaid mediocre players? But I agree that divisions should not be used for such a small league. Moving dates... not so much. There's a charm in weather games.
Agreed he come along way since 2019 BUT the o/c could be a problem still tends to call the same plays over and over adnd goes up the middle to much needs to look at Montreal s plays , CFL you need to be mobile as a QB
Streveler has come a long way since 2019 his passing much better lets hope THE O/C expands his play book and doesn t run the same up the middle plays and put the WIN back in Winnipeg
Ottawa's defence certainly lost a lot of one-on-one battles in the trenches against Winnipeg's offence tonight. What has happened to the REDBLACKS' passing game? The Blue Bombers earned an impressive victory. In order to ensure player safety, the league needs to fine & suspend two players for head shots against defenseless QBs tonight.
Dru Brown was injured early in the game and Dustin Crum was running. Brown was 2 for 6 for just 24 yards before he was injured, he didn't do much, just a few passes and a few rushes, Ottawa didn't have a lot of time possessing the ball.
Neither of those were intentional, just unfortunate body position combined with the speed of the game. Really shouldn’t have been a flag for that reason either.
@@liljohnnyboy How the fuck you decided that I'm drinking when in fact I WAS NEVER DRUNK in my life? That info was given by people who are inside the league. I'm not making things up.
So if Ottawa got a major foul for that hit on the QB at 4:53, did Winnipeg get one for the hit at 3:06? They didn't show it, but it's the same play so I'm wondering how that played out.
@@teo_heel Toronto did, yes. The command center. The fact not one ref on the field thought that hit was illegal speaks volumes to the training they get
@@teo_heel a player safety decision, and honestly hitting a sliding qb is one of the easiest calls to make. Ignoring the rest of the calls they missed, this one deserves punishment imho
Winnipeg wins but are they really back? Offense didn’t look very good outside of Olivera, defense still giving up big plays (although they did give up less this time)
it was very uncharacteristic of this version of the bombers..though I will say imo Kramdi was committed to go down and it seemed like he was aiming for where he figured browns legs were going to be, then the slide was pretty abrupt...just saying that is not out of the question, Kramdi not a known dirty guy...he would be with the Alouettes if he was.
winnipeg born n bred and lived in ottawa for a decade along the way. i will say they have a core of interpid fans, given how much grief their team has suffered in the past 40 years. when they were canvassing for the new name, i wrote in and suggested the Ottawa River Rats, but it did not get to the top 5 lmao. i had many good seasons watch ing games in ottawa, good atmosphere there....best game was 88 Grey Cup, with the W for the WBB!
