CFL circuit hack everyone should know

Looks like that circuit was not designed to output that much power to that cfl tube. The bulb is somewhat 50w But the tube is somewhat 100w Pls correct if I'm wrong.

Nice idea the tube cfl and bulb cfl if it is a same wattages for example 20 watts it surely lit up.

I guess we will all be building our own lights using landfill trash like this after virus times. Hope they keep the power on. Need a 12v version of this hack.

Liked but... No safety earth connection and that type of lamp is about 18W. The original lamp of the PCB was equal or more than 18W? Good idea for the old days but nowadays it is just garbage.

whenever I try this it doesnt work :( but probably because all the ballast boards i have laying around were from dead lamps

I think the circuitry does go bad. Enclosed fixtures allow too much heat buildup; I seem to have gotten more life by adding venting.
